Most of the family rishtas I rejected were my mother's cousins.
Could you please help me understand that clearly. Were those rishtas for you mother's cousins or your mother's cousins' sons (your second cousins)???
I have seen one rishta in my family where the guy was girl's mother's first cousin. It is understandable because of huge age differences of cousins that cousins' children could be of your age or even older. I thought that kind of rishta was wierd ........... but am wondering is that normal ?????

my bhabi is my cuzin and they sent rishta for me for her brother we ended up sayin now bcoz of the whole wata sata thingy, we dont have any bad feelings but im engaged now to another relative and there are times when my inlaws send me stuff she goes abit weird and her brother was acting abit strange towards my fiance on the engagement day but thats it really...

I have three brothers n no sister, i have always been really close to all my cousins spl. the guy once since i played with them all the time (brothers, i n the cousins). i always thght it was more of a brotherly friendship...but i guess not.

^ there are different ways to handle rejection...move on, talk abt it (if u get a chance like in my situation), take some time to get over it...all of these are better thn what my cousin is doing...its been three years since, n not only he is being a jerk to me, also to my whole family.

I rejected my cousin's rishta. We were kind of engaged without me knowing cuz the elders had made the decision while we were kids.
His side didnt bother to focus on his education cuz he was gonna og to Europe anyways through me so the clash between me and him was unbelievable!!
Nobody understood why I denied and it all ended with a forced nikkah that lasted 4 years.
Alhamdulillah its over. It was a nightmare.
Rejecting a cousin isn’t always easy for everybody!!
