So as kids we were always intrigued by the concept and possibility of calling a spirit and making it answer silly questions. The general one ofcourse being lighting a candle, filling up a glass with water and sketching on paper a yes no and a scale from 1-10. Or either having the glass inverted on the paper since that hollow area inside the glass is supposedly to be filled out by the spirit? No clue.
But I did learn my lesson in the end how never ever to pursue the following business.
Although quite later I found out that this is all wodoo, not good bijinish. So tell anyone of u have similar storiyaN to share?
I know blue berry mentioned somewhere (didnāt read entirely the thread, canāt find it now) something about it. So share u roh storyz here and who the process worked for?
I will share mine later with a full picture of the āspiritā later. Although if u are impatient and interested in how to find out about the procedure. Venture out in my journal uāll be in for a shock of ur life
Jinns and Angels cannot be seen by Humans. As far as spirits go - once a person dies he stays dead until the Appointed Day. Therefore, Humans cannot see the spirits either.
But Iām wondering how so many ppl claim, theyāve called a spirit via a vegie (sp?) board and all the other big tall talk they make out of itā¦whats that? Mere urban legends?
Cuz I for one donāt believe in these things the way ppl make them sound so scary. Although I do think mind can also play a vital role in playing tricks on one
The calling of the spirits through the Ouija board (pronounced veegee board) is a myth, behna...
To believe in ghosts is almost like Kufr...As a Muslim we should know that there are no such things as ghosts...A Muslim should be confident in this belief without a shred of doubt...
wait a min, I've a question. Cool this going to become an interesting topic.
Itsme this one is for u or others who are wililng to join in.
So if a spirit goes on, and the body lies in the grave. The thing they say about 'azab-e-qabr' what form of us endures that? Is it inflicted on the roh? Or the body? Or what?
For some reason I keep on thinking that when we die, we'd just seem dead to the folks on the outside world. But while in qabr, u'd be able to feel all the bugs crawling around, ants biting away at the flesh, the spooky silence and the darkness of the grave. :( anyone knows? (I wud completely understand if u guys answer in a 'no' since I know we actually have to be there to know trully what goes on in a grave) :(
She is working with a terminal Patient - and last week she (my sis almost collapsed) and was in temp. shock.
According to her(sis), while working with the patient - she saw a manly figure (she is suppose to be alone with 3 or 4 more staff members - all females).
Now lets see what my sis. went through:
Since, she was working with a Terminal Patient (who is expected to die this week), my sis. mind was thinking of death (death == ghosts, etc). And since she was alone with the patient - she was probably feeling scared. As the tension and stress amounts, she in unable to think straight - and her mind creates imaginary image that she think actually is real.
As you can see from the above example, that the so called āJinnā was no more than a imaginary image which was resulted due to working with a terimal patient, stress, and tension.
My dearest Laji bro: I agree with you U know Iām a good behna devoted to the principals of our beloved faith. Though, (urgh I forgot what I was going to askā¦humpf) I donāt believe in the existance of ghosts, grimlings, elfs and santa, but I do believe somehow we are not alone in this vast universe. I love the green men. and I strongly believe they are out there. Aliens. Iām not sure if Quran mentions anywhere, but somehow isnāt there more to life on other planets of this world? Other than angels and jins⦠canāt there be more forms of life out there?
I remember having a discussion with some a person(long ago, Iāve forgotten everything about it) but somehow she ended up telling me that thereās life in other worlds. And their life is just begining and on another dimention life may be just be ending. Do u know any such thing? Hmmmā¦

Btw, Barbie girlā¦quit scaring me women! Stop claiming ppl can see jins. Otherwise Iād die outta fear right at this minute
Okay itsme. Yeah I know whatcha saying bud. Mind can be a mysterious thing. Nothing can be more scarier than our own imagination. I donāt know. I know some ppl that I canāt dub āinsaneā kinda thing, but they claim to smell stuff (when no one else can) like smell of a rose (hell Iām just talking about my own self). I feel this strong strong whif of rosy perfume so much sometimes. And its been spooking and following me for 5 yrs now Does that means Iām a Schizo or some crud
Other than that, I know for sure mind can play major games with our sanity When it comes to seeing the objects of unseen, Iāve no phd in that department. But Yeah Iāve heard voices, when no one was there. And Iāve smelled this rose fragrance when no rose was present? WHY WHY? is somethign wrong with me?
^ Just like you said: *Nothing can be more scarier than our own imagination.
*Voices can be created by our Mind as well as the Smell or Rose.
In sura Yusuf: Hz. Abbas [PBUH] said that he can smell and feel the presence of Hz. Yusuf PBUH. When the shirt of Prophet Yusuf was being brought Home.
As soon as the Shirt left Egypt, Abbas [PBUH] could feel the presence. <-- You may say that it is a Miracle (and yes it is) but it also proves that Our mind is so much more capable of doing than we have ever imagined.
