Lol you Pakis are funny…really you lot are…iv been reading some of the Desi guy thread and its interesting to see how passionate people are about how much they hate people who dress ‘black’…

Obviously by dressing like this your compromising your culture and you a wannabe gangster and uncivilised…all this nonsense is coming out…

Then i check to see what you lot wear…i assumed Pakis would be upset cos they wear you know a hijab maybe, a salwar kameeze, maybe a dupatta, jalabaya, a turban or something…you know something Pakistani…

But alas no…everyone wears jeans, shirts, blouses stuff like that…and last time i checked they arent Pakistani clothes…they are attributed to white culture…so that leads me to ask why you people think thats acceptable, civilised and cultural whilst anything ‘black’ is uncivilised, self loathing and uncultural…

Lol i find it funny how you girls have no problem showing your hair, highlighting it blonde or something stupid like that yet have a problem with people who have cornrows…double standard i think…

Lol this is for boys and girls…if you lot actually dressed up like pakis rather than goreh then maybe id take your problems about people dressing black seriously…but you do the same things…you arent cultured and you are no more pakified then those boys dressing ‘black’…

White people atleast have a basis for why they dont like wiggers…they wear their clothes…pakis dont so i dont see why you lot moan…

I just sense that in paki eyes goreh are kind of civilised people so following them is ok…but kale or ‘niggers’ as one girl in the thread disgracefully put are uncivilised…

lol..i was on the train this morning and this dude just kept snorting..not snoring, but snorting…45-60 minutes he changed positions but did not wake up at allll..his head would fall on someones shoulder and he’d pick it up..and then all of a sudden, he just rested his head on this dude’s lap…poor guy was like ":bummer: and we were all loookinga t him and laughing..he looked like a nice dude for not punching that guy awake.. i wuda been pissed off if some kallu just decided to rest his head on my shoulder..not nod off,but actually snuggle up.. :rotfl:

Dudeeeeeee.......Its not a paki thing to criticize anything ..its human nature to criticize everything which doesnt appeal to their taste.
My father used tell me every person has a critic in him/herself. Thats wat distinguish our personalities,and thas how u see people with different taste. *
*lets take an example of u ,u wanna criticize paki folks cuz u believe pakis criticize people who dress up like black folks......that explains u have a different personality ,its not a bad thing ,it is a human nature. Accept it.

Theres a difference between having your own preferences and looking down at others...what you have here is Pakis criticisng Pakis for dressing black becuase it is uncivilised and lacking culture...i dont see the culture in jeans or what is so civilised by highlighting your hair...

Its the double standard that is annoying...not the fact that we dress differently...

seriously, all joking aside! we really need to address this racisim in our community. Naughty by nature i apologize on behalf of the other idiotic pakistani - so funny i was just apologizing to a white girl for the racist attitudes of pakis against white girls! go figure!

first of all - there are haters in every culture and creed! and pakis are no exception! haters will be haters - to each thier own - i hope they are surrounded by people like themselves - other haters. and those of us who like to live in peace and want to be open-minded ..well lets surround ourselves with other people with similar attitudes. no use staying around people who are haters - its such unecessary negative energy! we dont need it.

i think its truly sad that ppl hate and are racist - more for them then the ppl they hate - b/c they are sooo missing out on getting the full lavor of this life, its like never trying sugar, or cinammon, garlic or mirich..yumm! they miss out ...i say you dont let them bother you and ruin your experience of this life...don't let them screw ou up! haters wil be haters!!!

As for hating black ppl or considering them uncivilized - really we are just a differnt shade of the same color - no matter what color we are ;)
but its true pakis like white - so many of these aunties are like oh she is soo beutiful and i look at this beautiful girl and all she is is pale! and pasty and incredibly ugly! its soooo sad! but here's the thing... its b/c we are still colonized mentally! we have not gotten over it. some of us in our minds are still not giving up the fact that white ppl are no longer are masters!! they still think like - well not slaves - but like colonized ppl!!!

Sometimes i want to scream at these aunties... and say - u are freee!!!!!! the white man no longer rules you! not to mention the european christian civilization is an incredibly intolerant civilization - they have consistently demonized nad dehumanized ither races. look at australia, norht america, south america, etc... out of our 7 continents 4 are predominately white (europe, North maerica, south america, australia) that leaves you with a frozen antartica - uninhabitable, a screwed up africa which is not white but only b/c the people were used by the europens as a resource - i.e. slaves, and then there is asia where all your wars are!! its a very intolerant culture - and unfortunately for whatever reason its been very successful in demonizing other races, like yours and mine!!!

I believe in peace!! i believe we need to figure out how to live with ech other in harmony, but i think we need to recognize that the euro-christain culture should really not be what we all look up to and aspire to be like - its really been very harmful for this planet and all its species - not just humans. (i mean look at the rapidly growing endangered species list and the poor rainforests) So we desperately need to appreciat other cultures otherwise.... there will be nothing left to appreciate!!!

while i am not saying we demonize the euro christian culture - it has a lot of good to offer as well, but we must recognize its intolerant tendencies and realize we are all being demonized and dehumanized if we are not euro-christain, and we should do something about it before even we are wiped off the planet like the native americans! and many other human, plant and animal species!!

can i just say, u need to really step out of your warped ghetto!! there is no black way of dressing and no white way of dressing. You can have a blue mohawk, 20 tatooes, chains, and wear tight jeans and be a white "punk" or in the alernative u could wear baggy pants etc - although i dont think this fad survived the 90's! so u may need to update your ghetto thug image.

You, on the other hand, i have to say...its disappointing to hear such views, your ignorance is completely unjustified. you obviously have access to the internet, so why dont u look up whats really goin on.
i dont know what ethnicity you belong to, but judging from your name "anil khan" - i am guessing you are asian and possibly muslim. Mind you, you are not immune to the bigotry and hatred today. Should others then based upon 9/11 and other such images and stereotypes on TV assume that you are a terrorist. how would you like it if you were told to leave a restraunt. lets not forget only about 10-12 percent of the US population is black and this 0 being thrown out of restraunts, not getting hired, or being given an apt. is thier reality! the fact that the entertainment industries is one of the most liberal industry in the country should indicate something. they were accepted and given opportunities in the music and film, and sports industry b/c its a liberal industry - its not as elitest as professional industries like medicine and law for instance.

all these elitist proffessions generally are gentrified, however entertainment is not as elitest - ppl move up pretty fast in this industry - waitress today millionare 2morow! in any event - seriously anil get a clue!!!!! it really just reflects badly on you when you say such things, its an indication of ignorance and close-mindedness - not virtues that are admirable.

Wow. I have heard some racist comments towards African-Americans by Pakistanis, but this one by AnilKhan might be one of the worst I've ever heard. Firstly, as some other posters mentioned, you need to factor history into your analysis of who/what is "civilized"- taking into account colonization of African nations, slave trade, the institution of slavery, segregation , "re-integration", and unfairly distributed educational access in this country (though that applies to low-income Caucasians as well as African Americans). While you may have had access to a decent public education in your life by virtue of the area you live in and the social environment that you were brought up in - not everyone, even in America, has these opportunities. Pick up a book by Jonathan Kozol, perhaps that will open your eyes to some educational realities that people face in this country. So, though you may easily categorize African-Americans into "those who want to improve their situation" and "those who don't" - there are a plethora of other socio-economic factors that have created present-day America and the African-American situation that you stereotypically generalize in your post.

Aside from the fact that us Pakistan Muslims shouldn't harbor racist hatred in our hearts for anyone as it detracts from our obligations as Muslims -- Pakistanis also fail to realize that many Africans are our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, in fact millions of them are. So, shouldn't we be trying to eradicate the racist views of others around us rather than being propagators of such bitter hatred?

This reminds me of when I was in Pakistan earlier this year and an uncle told me he hated living in Baltimore because of the African Americans, in his words "They're so dark, they just blend into the night, so it's easy for them to just sneak up and attack you". I mean, in this point in our world, when many people of all races are being racist against/afraid of Pakistanis, people like this uncle and AnilKhan are making completely racist statements like this- it's just disgraceful and ignorant, and I pray that our generation makes strides towards ending this racism in our communities towards Africans/African-Americans (insha'Allah). I'm glad someone brough up this topic as it is one where some introspection would serve Pakistanis well.

Sorry again for those who were insulted.

Believe me, I AM NOT A RACIST. But growing up in the west you see a lot of things by certain kinds of people. I know we shouldn't generalize but sometimes a specific action is mostly commited by a certain group.
