Also, I think problem with Taliban is that they "think" this statue was worshipped(and it was) and it must be destroyed because worshiping idols is highest form of sin in Islam. That is where the extremist part comes in and takes its tolls - be it a mosque(babri Mosque) or a hindu temple or a buddist statue.

That is why we all have to be vigilant in protect these treasures. The Shiv Sena and RSS clowns are idiots and as a person from India, they are a source of constant embarassment. I think there are many groups in our countries that for whatever reason can't seem to evolve and end up posting a black eye to the rest of us and our beliefs.

All that aside, my German-Music-Master friend, knowledge sharing is never bad. The good thing about these forums is to look into the minds of people like Youngbrat and ilk, who can't differentiate between things that are religious, cultural and historic. To them, there is a grand conspiracy against them and instead of acknowledging their mistakes, be it religious, cultural or historic, they recite idiotic examples and analogies. All of their justifications for terrorism and violence makes any action by the west more palatable.

Both of you have no respest for anything. You should be ashamed of your actions. My reason for this post was to show that your hate for the Muslims is based on things that they have done that are not Islamic. So you have not learnt anything.

In your idle pursuit of Islam Bashing, you have reduced our religion to a bunch of tribals and useless edicts and barbarianism. We thank you for sharing your comments and trying to put down that thing which we hold most sacred to ourselves.

Never have I nor anyone insulted Hinduism in this forum but u guys take the cake. In a world where u prech tolerence and respect, you are the first ones to bash, insult, disrespect anything remotly portraying Islam. I have lost all respect for schopenhauer whose explanation of Islam goes as follows:

Tell me, where I have insulted islam? I have railed against the Taliban and the wolf-crying people who blame everyone else except themselves. I am constantly reminded on the great number of people practicing islam and how those ranks are constantly growing.Why not unite, do something about it? If it was me I would decry the fact that most of the so called islamic regimes have no backbone and are puppets of the villains you complain of, particularly the U.S..

I have been just as vigilant in berating the extremist elements in India. I hold the RSS and shiv sena in the lame light as I hold the Hurriyat. These groups foment violence and discord. It doesn't take a genius to see that the Taliban is a bunch of morons. Tell me, how will they benefit the people of Afghaniastan. Economically, Socially, Politically.

You are right, it doesn't take a genius to see that what the taliban are doing right now is something that is not only needed for afghanistan, but was initiated by and something which is and continues to be motivated by the people of afghanistan. But then again, one who does not open one's eyes, cannot see, genius or otherwise.

They already have, by bringing Afghanistan what it has craved for over 30 years. They got rid of the thing that has killed over 25% of the population and displaced another 25% to Pakistan and Iran.

They have brought PEACE. The things that every household craves for. The war is over in 90% of Afghanistan. They have control, there is law and order. Afghanistan means land of the united tribes. but theses tribes were hardly united but now they are.

Independant of statue destroying, their population is better off then it was during the wars. the reason for that is peace. They have brought what Afghanistan needs the most.

And infoman, my comments focus more towards our racists intolerent disrespecting guppie, schopenhauer.

And i do mention that in my post above. Its nice to see that he has not replied back...

Now infoman i want to know, do you agree with his definition of Islam or do u condone his attitude.
