And is that a bad thing? If the husband runs off, why punish the wife by making her go out and work (provided in this example that she was not working before)? If she has no family members to help her, she’ll have a hard time going to work AND managing a home, she wont’ be there for the children because she’s busy working because she needs the money to take care of them. If her parents or siblings can help her ease the burden and give her money as well as emotional support, then what’s wrong with that?
