Has anybody seen Allah

in dreams. I wonder if anybody have seen Allah in dream. I have seen Prophet Mohammed :saw2: in my dream in my childhood. But never saw Allah in my dreams.
I have come across so many people who have seen our holy prophet:saw2: in their dreams but I have never come across anybody who has seen Allah even in their dreams. I know Allah is beyond our imagination. But I wonder if their is any other explanation as to why people do not see Allah in their dream ?

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

One of my teacher told me he has seen him.
Teacher from pakistan-muslim.
I saw every one. Any muslim figure(from 1500 years ) you name it, he would have seen them.
He never lied.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

I wish I could get more details from him. Because it is difficult to imagine how Allah looks like in physical terms. But it would be interesting to know what kind of form or shape he saw of Alllah in his dream.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

Back then I believed every thing he said. I still do but, he him self was young 5 year older then me.
Now I don't know, its simple put this way, some time we see things we think about a lot.

To answer your question he did describe sphere of light, he heard him too.
I mean its us human how have toungs and ear, I mean we are talking about Allah here, allah say "be" and things come into "being",.
I don't believe we on human terms are able to perceive The Almighty.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

If any one had the right to see Allah (SWT) it would be Muhammad (SAW) and he did not see Him while he lived in this world.

About seeing Allah (SWT) in dreams ... Allah (SWT) Knows Best

Peace

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

Any of us any creature cannot see the Creator. (Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) being an exception to this)

Remember the story of Prophet Moses (a.s.), the bani Israeel wanted to see Allah too, and on their insistance, Prophet Moses (a.s.) did dua to Allah. And Allah warned him and them that if Allah would show His Almightyself even to a mountain, the mountain would crumble. Because it is just too much.

We cannot imagine or even perceive the glory of Almighty, Allah (SWT).

Rest, Allah knows best.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

Peace bro.

Just to add ... Some people will benefit to see the Face of Allah (SWT) in Jannah ... no human can see God while in worldly bodily form.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

^ Let's say, our sight that day will be Hadid/Crisp/Sharp/Iron ... maybe there's a hint in there :)

Peace bro.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

Shirk

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

He ((Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) did not see Allah you fool only Moses (PBUH)saw Him

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

I think I did, don't remember the dream, it was long time ago, may God forgive me if I remember incorrectly.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

Is it your assumption or you have something concrtete to hang this on.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

Maybe you ought to study before calling names.

Prophet Moses (a.s.) talked to Allah through the form of a burning bush. I’ll spare you of the name calling.

Story of Miraj

“This night you have to perform a very unique journey and I have been ordered to remain with you. You will have to traverse different parts of the world mounted on an animal named Buraq.”

The Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny began his historical night journey, along with the trusted protector of the revelation, the Angel Jibreel (pbuh) from the house of “Umm-e-Hani”, with the aide of his steed al-Buraq.

“After some time, Jibreel (pbuh) stopped Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny and said to perform the Salat. Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny dismounted from Buraq and performed Salat. Jibreel (pbuh) said, ‘Do you know where you just prayed?’ Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny replied to him in negative. Jibreel (pbuh) said, ‘In Tayyibah (Madinah), that place where your travelers will go.’ After this, Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny got back onto Buraq and continued the journey.”

"Once again, Jibreel (pbuh) stopped Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny and said, ‘Perform the Salat.’ Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny once again dismounted Buraq, and performed Salat there. Jibreel (pbuh) asked Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny, ‘Do you know where you just prayed?’ It is the Mountain of Sinai - the place where Prophet Musa (pbuh) spoke to Allah (swt)."

“Once again, Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny ascended Buraq and continued. Shortly afterwards, Jibreel (pbuh) said, ‘Get down and recite a Salat.’ Then again Jibreel (pbuh) questioned, ‘Do you know where you just prayed?’ Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny replied in negative, to which he answered, 'In Bait al-Laham (Bethlehem) - the place which is near to Baitul Maqdis and this is the place where Prophet ‘Isa al-Masih (pbuh) was born.’”

Then they reached Baitul Maqdis, which is located in today’s Zionist occupied Jerusalem and is also known as Masjid al-Aqsa (the Furthest Mosque) and Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny, proceeded to tie the reins of Buraq to the same ring that the great Prophets (before him) used to tie their animal to. After this Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny entered the Masjid and it was here that he met Ibrahim, Musa, Isa and the rest of the Prophets (pbut). They all gathered around him and they all proceeded to get ready for Salat. Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny had no doubt that the Salat would be lead by Jibreel (pbuh), however when the lines for the Salat were being formed, Jibreel (pbuh) placed his hand on the shoulder of Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny and pushed forward. Jibreel (pbuh) also took part in the Salat behind him along with the various Prophets (pbut).

On the second part of his journey, he proceeded from this spot to the skies (heavens). Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny, then observed the stars and the systems of the world and conversed with the souls of the previous prophets, and also with the angels of the heavens, peace and blessing be upon them all. Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny saw the centre of the tortures and the blessings (hell and heaven) and became fully aware of the secrets of creation, the extent of the universe and the signs of the Omnipotent Allah (swt).

Then Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny, continued his journey and reached Sidrat ul Muntaha (Beyond this point nobody has access including Jibreel (pbuh)). There he found it fully covered with splendor, magnificence and grandeur, and then he returned back by the way he had traveled. Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny, first came to Baitul Maqdis and then to Makkah. It was daybreak when he dismounted at the house of Umm-e-Hani from the Buraq which had taken him into space. Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny related this matter to Umm-e-Hani and the following night, he made it known to the assemblies of Quraysh as well. The word of his travels spread from mouth to mouth amongst all the groups, and now more than ever, the Quraysh were upset (with him).

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

For those of you who saw the Prophet - what did he look like? I'm tempted to have you PM me each separately, so I can see if the images compare. And saying he was some fair, beautiful guys with a beard and black hair ain't gonna cut it. That's too broad.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

I have an interesting story but, I don't know.
Not me some one else.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

:khumar:… teggy my man well done so far ..

it is far beyond our imaginations and thoughts to even see a minute glimpse of Allah Almighty.

No one Except The Prophet SAW has seen Allah Almighty, but some scholars differ as to Did the prophet SAW see Allah with his Physical Naked Eye or Was it through The Noor of the Prophet SAW, because Allah SWT cannot be defined to any form or shape, and the closest thing woulld be light - this has no form or shape .. yet its everywhere … similarly Allah is Everywhere but No where cos he cant be seen Untill Day of Qiyamat. … and so to See Allah Which is Light .. only Light will be able to see it… Thas why a Narration of Prophet SAW .. where on Laila tul Isra … the angel Gibraeil Stopped at Sidra tul muntaha and said to Prophet SAw that i can not go further on becasue if i do .. my wings will burn and only u go on further on to maqaam e mahmood… which shows that to see light you got to be light .. and from this also ..is a discussion about prophet being light and see Allah.. well to Actually travel at the speed of light .. you have to be light it self .. and therefore it is said that Allah is Zaati Noor - Original, and the Prophet is Ataaei - given. like the sun is zaati and the rays that shine upon the earth are ataaei from the sun..

anyways , It is IMPOSSIBLE to see Allah SWT in phisical form or shape nor In Dreams. Lets just say if Allah wanted the prophet to show himself to the prophet, He wud have come to the Prophets dreams but he didnt ..

barhaal. this issue is Not to be discussed my us, because at any given moment their is a possibility that we can commit shirk, and shirk is something that which Allah does not forgive.

and just another thing. Our eemaan is also on this that we believe in the unseen and if we dont then our eemaan is at stake, and Allah swt is Unseen.

May Allah Guide us all to the right way of thinking and believeing …Aameen.

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

Even in the story of Mirage that you have posted it does not say that prophet (PBUH) saw HIM .
Do you not know about Moses(PBUH) and his companions who went to KOH-e-TOR

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

I've already answered your concern.

Good Day to you!

Allah Hafiz

Re: Has anybody seen Allah

Peace bro. Teggy and fbi786

According to the correct understanding we :

1) Cannot say 'Allah is Light' in a basic or literal manner, there are layers of light as revealed in the Qur'an.
2) When Aisha (RA) asked Muhammad (SAW) if he saw Allah (SWT) after the Mi'raj he replied 'how could he see for all the Light
3) The Light that is seen is in fact The Veil of Allah (SWT) ... it is a blinding light that forms a layer between Allah (SWT) and our vision.
4) On that blessed occassion in Paradise ... The Veil will be lifted.
