Sometimes it's easier to annotate concepts than explain them. These are derived from various understandings at no point is this supposed to be actualising rather it is supposed to be explanatory ... making use of the parables, analogies and similitudes within the Qur'an and Sunnah one can detail a cohesive 'model' that describes the concepts without the need for superfluous explanation.

**Teggy my man I know we cannot see him in any physical form or shape. But Quran has described Allah briefly and given some food for out thought so it is possible that some people can see him in their dream or imagaine him while awake. **

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The similitude of His light is as a niche wherein is a lamp. The lamp is in a glass. The glass is as it were a shining star. (This lamp is) kindled from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself) though no fire touched it. Light upon light. Allah guideth unto His light whom He will. And Allah speaketh to mankind in allegories, for Allah is Knower of all things.
chapter24: verse 35

And on the day in Paradise we will see ALLAH in its "pure from"? Without the light layers, right?

***The best way is how Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself described it for all of us............is during Salaat..............

Salaat is similar to Mirage.............

There is a Hadith that describes Salaat.......... Allah has Stated when His Banda (Slave) stands in Salaat..............

it is exactly like he is knocking on Allah's Door....................

and when someone knocks..........Allah always answers!

So even if we are unable to see...............we can feel his presence.....

because Allah is closer to us than our own Shah Ragg (jugular Vein).........

can anything else be closer than that?

All that is so true but it does not satisfy my curiosity as to why we do not see Allah even in our dreams. Dreams are made up of our wildest imagination.
Is it a proof that Allah/God exists and as per Allah's grand scheme Allah does not want us to see Allah even in our wildest dreams?

Very interesting thread! I haven't seen Him, but I have "heard" Him speak to me in a dream.
It's hard to explain, but, I didn't actually hear anything, but I knew He was talking to me.

I have seen The Prophet (saw) a few times in my dreams.

My Ammi had a dream where Bibi Fatima (RA) came to her and told her her to do sajda on a janamaz...Ammi had a very difficult pregnancy and labor with my elder sister and this dream was a during that period. As a result, all 3 of us sisters have Fatima as our middle name

Allah kii tajalli jab Moosa [a.s.] nahiiN bardaasht kar sake to hama shuma che and? Allah can not be conceptualized and or visualized with our worldly experiences and senses.

Whatever you can think of Allah, Allah is NOT that. though Allah has used the words to describe Himself like His face, His hands etc but no one can put that image on the canvas.
