So what’re you all cooking? who’s going over whose house? what’s the secret family recipe that you all follow…if there’s any!
I’m having a few friends over for dinner tonite. They’re bringing the food, i’m providing a nice comfy place to sit around and ofcourse i lured them to my place with my new Plasma t.v. and yes yes that sounds wrong so i’m making the Salad (whisper…more like buying it and transferring it to my crystal bowl before they come) but they dont have to know that.
It’s gona be a fun time. From what i’ve heard (sneaky resources), is that there’s bound to be a huge glaze-roasted turkey with plenty of stuffing, Boiled corn cobs, one of my friend’s mom makes the best gravy so he’ll be bringing the mashed potato and gravy. What else what else…hmmmm i’ll get back with more later.
The whole family is home today (first time after Eid) and currently ammi and abbu are in the kitchen baking chicken and cooking rice (they don’t like turkey). Brothers are playing video games here in the living room while I am on gupshup. Sister and wife are in their room gupping. Life’s good
yeah, in fact, dad cooks better than mom but he doesn’t cook often, of course, and when he does cook, he does things his way and uses a lot of spices etc. and it annoys mom and she wants him out of the kitchen usually they work on 2 different things at once, otherwise they keep arguing YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG…no, YOU are doing it wrong!!!
Well I really don’t like it when I am off. Like today I am really bored and have nothing better to do. Tomorrow our office is closed half day but I took the other half off myself to extend my weekend. But tomorrow will be fun because I have to help my brother buy a new computer so I’ll be getting up at 5 to go to the black friday sales. Then I come home in a hurry and will take my wife, ammi, and sister for shopping at different stores. Then Jumma. So tomorrow will be busy and fun
