As mentioned in my blog .. tommorrow is nouroz.. And this year they have said it is going to be a very barkato wali year…
anyways I wish u all a Happy Nouroz..
No no it is not only Iranian but also afghan, arabic and some other muslim country’s new year

No muslim / Islamic connection what so ever so lets keep it that way.
True....but i am sure if some research is done - the celebrations of nourooz will be from very anti-islamic origins....I wish people would pay more attention to what recommend to celebrate and what not to celebrate.
So as we all should say..Happy nourooz to all who celebrate it .

which "un-islamic" holidays do we celebrate, please elaborate?
Even if you do have a list, we are not talking about those days now, are we?
For many people (non Zoroastrians), Nowruz is celebrated as a cultural holiday and not a religious one, and I don’t have any problems in wishing a happy Nowruz to those who partake the celebrations as part of their culture.
I particularly like the idea of the 7 Ss’ (haft sin): Sabzeh, Samanu, Serkeh, Sir… err… can’t remember the other 3. Each of the 7 Ss’ symbolizes a wish for the next year.
