Navroz is tomorrow (Friday)...we celebrate it in Kashmir.

The Seven Seens are:
Sib (apples)
Sepand (a kind of incense)
Sabzeh (wheat sprouts)
Sekkeh (coins)
Sir (garlic)
Serkeh (vinegar)
Sohan or Samanu (kinds of sweets)

But only the Iranians put out haft seen displays...

this celebrate this for the end of their fasting.

Just like egyption folks count their dates from the time of pharoh (7000+ years ), Persian can also do the same

I'm pretty sure Hindus & Sikhs celebrate Basant...that doesn't seem to stop most people in Lahore from celebrating it though...
