Eid means 'Happiness' . Milaad means Birthday, Nabi is Rasool Allah Muhammad "SAW" PBUH,
12 Rabiul Awwal is the Birth day of Holy Prophet Muhammad :SAW: and some Muslims do celebrate this day as an Eid day! ( some Muslim like wahabi's don't )
Muslims should learn about their own religion and religious events too not just getting busy in celebrating Christmas dewali valentine basant etc!

And even if someone doesn't celebrate it... I don't see any harm in wishing each other on this day... since it should be a day of joy for everyone I guess. We never forget to wish our friends on their birthdays... Apnay Prophet (p.b.u.h) k liye itna tou kar he saktay hain.
