Re: Happy Diwali
On that note - .. its not a race to find out..whose religion makes better sense or is more clear. ..when some thing makes sense to you then thats great follow it and live it up.. when something else makes sense to someone else.. then so be it.. let them follow it and live it up too.. ..why come down and stuff something that doesnt make sense to them, down their throats?.. everyone is set in their own skins with their own beleifs.. who really benefits from preaching something to unwanted ears?
Peace Inaara
Preaching is an integral part of Islam. It is to be done with wisdom. So when the people are asked on the Day of Judgement why they did not accept the truth they cannot blame the people who had it but could not deliver it effectively.
Preaching is done not out of control or hatred it is done out of love and want to bring everyone into a state which is leading to redemption. If someone preaches to me from other than Islam I listen and pay them attention because I don't see it as if they are taunting me I look at it as if they are trying to save me, and give me a perspective similar to their own.
The benefit one gets for preaching to unwanted ears is a benefit the Lord gives, there is no gain in it for us in this world. If a person becomes Muslim or not due to preaching or not it will only happen by the Will of God. This does not mean that we should not do it, but it does mean when it is done it should be done so with humility and wisdom.
