To all good people. This festival celebrated everywhere by Hindus and others is to celebrate the vanquishing of evil by the good Lord MahaVishnu in the Narasimha Avtaar. Hope everyone took their oil bath, wore new clothes and ate great mithai to hearts content but heart healthy!

Happy diwali to too all my guppies around. Just remember those days when i was a kid was so much excited with this festival all friends used to meet and we enjoyed a lot, was fun how i wish i could go back and still enjoy those good times.

it boggles the mind; this lord vishnu's win over some evil guy in a certain avtar is all kufr for us to believe. so don't u think wishing these people in some ways means we're promoting their belief?
i got news for all u hinddos jains and siks: it didn't happen! its all make belief.
Have faith in Allah and his akhri rasool and inshAllah you can save ur ackhrat. otherwise on the day of judgement all these budhays of urs will not save u from the wrath of the almighty Allah.

^ I say ignore. Its not our festival, why greet? As muslims shouldn't we be afraid of the wrath of almighty since we're in a way giving substance to their beliefs that Allah can have human like form (nouzibillah) and vanquish evil on earth or wutever it is?

Funny....who cares and who knows what will happen after death??? live and enjoy in present. Tell me what is the advatnage by converting my faith?

It is unlawful to celebrate diwali or other non islamic days but it is lawful to greet non muslims by way of compliment and nice behaviour.
