Hand cream suggestion!

Any recommendations? I feel like i need something richer for the winter weather…

And nothing fragranced with strawberries or cocoa etc… the smell makes me feel sick.

This one is very good for hands,Hemp hand protector.

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

hemp cream from the body shop
L'Occitane cream with shea butter
Bliss High Intensity hand cream!! (has macadamia oil and grapeseed extract)

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

Heanw, you're on my wavelength....that is the one i currently use! :@:

Recently, i've started to find the smell of the hemp too strong, hence why i wanted other alternatives. :)

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

lol heanw you too? :) i have used it for the past 5 years or so..

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

i love loccitane hand cream

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

Chanda! I will definitely try the L'Occitane and Bliss ones, thanks! :)

you are not alone Maroush I also found the smell of this creme quite strong too,but its good, its not like the other cremes which just contains mostly water.

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

L'Occitane cream with shea butter.

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

Eucerin regular body lotion, fragrance free...the best thing ever made.

I recently discovered products by L'Occitane after LOVING their Lavender Vinegar (thank you AngelWings)..

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

Body shop's Vitamin E hand cream is good. I love extra virgin olive oil for hands and feet, its an awesome moisturiser without being oily and greasy.

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

Thanks for the suggestions Shum! I rub olive oil onto my nails/cuticles most nights… may as well massage it onto my hands as well!

Niks, Eucerin eh… will buy that tomorrow, i’ve seen it in Boots… :hmmm:

Maroush, have you ever tried grapeseed oil in place of olive oil? It has no smell, absorbs really nicely, and supposedly has great anti-aging properties. I dab it on the corners of my eyes at night and also dab it on spots (sounds counterintuitive, but it actually helps heal them.)

And I'm giving another thumbs up to the occitane hand cream. In addition to the original shea butter dry skin hand cream, they also have a 'shea butter vanilla' formula that has a very, very light but nice vanilla scent but otherwise the same ingredient mix.

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

neutrogena's norwegian formula work well for me .

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

Maroush, try nails inc hand cream and i don't think it is fragranced (at least i can't smell anything!)

I use either coconut oil or olive oil. It gets very dry where I live and nothing else seems to work. I slather it on my hands, put on some cotton gloves and by morning, my hands are nice and smooth.

Re: Hand cream suggestion!

how about plain old nivea? :D
works great for me and i use the lighter formula

apparently the 'german' made nivea has the same ingredients as La mer
anyone else heard about this?

Re: Hand cream suggestion!
