I heard Hamzaad is something (not sure if a jinn or angel) is by you till you die.

And you know when you visit a person who has knowledge of jadoo (magic) to find out about your past and stuff like that. It is this Hamzaad where they get info about your past and stuff.

yes i heard that too , that when ppl go to jadooo toonas walay , they have captured some evil spirits whom the sent with the concerned person , next time you go there , they tell you everything in detail

another concept is that every person has some shadowy spirits who can be captured and made to do certain things

Jins and Jadoo is “burhaq” and people have been forwarned on this in Quran and by Prophet Mohammad :saw: Therefore Like Angels we have Jinns and then the evil practice of Jadoo. The above mentioned pratice is however not claimed as to be of Jadoo nature,

i think you are refering to Muraqba , but that is different from what you have explained,
it is done for certain reason .

i think Hamzad is your nafas or you can say mind
when people do chilla they go away from normal life ( that is forbidden in islam ) and as a result they got some brain problem and start thinking that they are talking to him as in verana where they were unable to talk to some one they start talking to themself and this problem continues with them when they came back

Clarification: I wasn't talking about hamzaad specifically. I was talking about jinns in general. I don't know the sharai heisiat of the 'jantar mantar' and 'chilla' :). However, doing spiritual healing (roohani ilaaj) is definitely a great virtue (as in the case of a medical doctor).

so 'controlling' hamzad is something appreciated in sharia? and the talk about and time spent in mantar jantar and challa and what nots to control hamzaad is like a farz sunnah or nafil?

dude but when ppl talk about controllign hamzad theyare not talking about controlling their nafs, that much is cleareven from teh first few posts in this thread.
