^^Eloquency itself is an art...That's why Shakespeare, Huxley, Orwell were considered to be the best writers of all...

And anyways, it's not like eloquency is taught in any class...It comes from within and is achieved through a great deal of hardships and endurance...

I am sure some people are really impressed with the way Jerry Falwell speaks...His mouthing off someone's faith as if it was garbage speaks volumes about eloquency there...

Perhaps that's more your style...

However, disregard this remark...

Gift of delivery is nice gift...One should use it...

Gift of delivery is nice if it doesn't take away from the substance. substance takes precedence any day over content.

Moderator :k: took your time but well done anyway

Very conveniently you forgot the ahadith and other requirements of Jihad where you are not supposed to target civilians, their property and target the “fighter” only i.e. military.

Where does this leaving Islam come from? :konfused:

Until the Muslims can gather themselves and make a government that follows Islam we are going no where. It is more important now that we form an Islamic government (not necessarily like Taliba or Saudi Regime) and then we’ll see if US can attack that country.

you have already said too much, please keep quiet and don't expose yourself before God.

Faisal personal attacks not allowed on this forum but if you want to call me an extremist then say it clearly and bring your evidence so that i can refute on facts and not on sly remarks.

Secondly nobody ask hamza yusuf to defend WTC attacks and nobody is praising killing of innocent civillians don't know where you get that from, just asking this brother politely not to make very basic contradictory remarks about islam.

thirdly I don't belive muslims attacked WTC alone, because i don't trust america especially its government they are well known liars and weapons of mass destruction is a perfect example.

Just my personal opinion:

I think he is a good speaker. I did not even know that he was an american when I had listened to some of his tapes in the car driving from Houston to Austin and back everyweekend. In the begining I thought he was just a British born Paksitani with good english.
Since I did not know of his origins and looks and goatee I listened to his message and did not form an opinion about his color, form and background. Who cares what his background is if his message makes sense.

He is knowledgeable and we should learn from such scholars. And not start bashing the one statement he made with which we do not happen to agree with. If he has taken the time to learn the Quran and is teaching us what Islam teaches us then we cannot pick and choose unless we have done our own detailed research into the matter or we seek several other opinions on a certain topic.

Just because one of us happens to be a "peace man" of the extreme kind does not make us right. Islam has a place for peace and an order to fight. At the right times.

Fayax, :k: :flower1: Well-stated and very reasonable of you. A refreshing change to read these comments in this Forum. Great job.

Changes

I provided ayahs as clear evidence

If you have the evdience then bring it forth.

You said you had hadiths on jihad now which jihad are you talking about the offensive jihad (Jihad Muabadah)
or are you talking about the defensive jihad (Jihad Dafah) because these jihads have different rules so which one are you refering to?

also remember palestine is quite clearly a defensive jihad you should look up the rules on defensive jihad (Dafah) before you comment

As for your comment on leaving islam you should read the original question again.

I didn't know the two jihads have different names, oh well. Why don't you post the differences in two jihads, hayn?

After 10 or so posts, no thread is on the topic... always onto tangents, so why not let dicuss that, otherwise he can start a new thread if wishes so.
