general gul is a privileged man, with access to untold facts and truths about pakistans and the wider muslim worlds issues. he was personally incharge at the time when pakistan was facing multiple threats including the planned kahuta raid which was averted at the very last minute or perhaps even seconds (israelli jets were airborne!). at the time pakistan was involved in afghanistan and had just accomplished enough matterials for its atomic bomb. was under sanctions from the west regarding its nuclear program (still is) and the writings were on the wall for the current scenario. if from these subtle words you cannot understand the situation then you can continue harking on about the taliban and general hameed gul.
i know you are a patriot of pakistan, perhaps youve not been following the revelations from people such as hameed gul, anylists like zaid hamid, aijaz ahmad, many others. the terrorism effecting pakistan is only part of the problem it is facing.
remember gen hameed gul only reveals unclassified information. he knows much more then what he is allowed to tell in interviews and you can clearly see that in his live interviews.
