Anyone know of good halal eateries in California… particularly San Jose? I met a nice lady today who suggested Kabab House Halal in santa clarato me…but I think she said its an Iraqi restaurant… 
Can anyone suggest some good Paki or Turkish food restaurants in the 95126 zipcode? I don’t think my family would drive more than a half hour just for food

I was just at zabihah.com. I clicked on California and i dont see San Jose as one of the localities. What other locality does it fall under?

u need to search under silicon valley n get the list of food spots not just in SJ but even of nearby areas , all u’ve to do is hav a look here …

1. Shan - Stevens Creek & Lawrence
2. Shalimar - El Camino. Also in Fremont and in San Francisco
3. Kabab N Curry - Isabella street, off El Camino
4. Zafran - El Camino and Scott
5. Mirchi - Irvington near Fremont. Awesome non-traditional desi
6. Mehran & Chandni - Newark - Good for weekend buffets.
7. Pakwan - Hayward and Fremont. Also in San Francisco.
Halal Chinese
1. Darda - McCarthy Ranch
2. Ma's - Lundy and Berryessa
Halal Malaysian
1. Red Kwali - McCarthy Ranch
Halal Mediterranian
3 or 4 outlets on University Avenue in Palo Alto. Shawarma, gyros etc.
