Here you go:

Uzbak Philosopher, Scientist, physician (medical scholar), ABu Ali Sina was follower of Aristotle and Neo-Plato philosophy. He was of the view that God does not have any interest in human-beings and the concept of physical resurrection (after death) is incorrect. His views were close to Zoroastrian philosophy. Imam Ghazali was staunch critic of Ibn e Sina's views and called him deviated agnostic.

Don't know whats the point of discussion in that picture?

Most of the Muslim scientists were persecuted for their beliefs by the ulemas of that time - this is the point of discussion.

Not just Muslim scientists, scientists of other faiths suffered the same contempt from the church and government of old times. People get pissed off every time any part of their identity or heritage is questioned.

This thread is about educating our people who falsely made to believe that all scientific inventions of today are the result of the work of Muslim scientists. Yes their contribution is valuable but they worked on the contributions of their previous scientists. And the facts that those scientists fate was so tragic.

They took the work of their predecessors such as Greeks, Iranians and others. Once Muslim closed the door of education and science for them and others took their work, they are left holding the baby!

Tyson pai seems to have an opinion on this too. On how tolerant and secular Baghdad under arabs had serious modern science and math happening for 300 years from 800 to 1100 AD, and then Imam Ghazali happened.

Anyway how does someone like Mostar95 get banned? I’ve never seen an uncivil or even sarcastic post from the guy. Is it any wonder GS is fading rapidly?

Came to this thread to see what Tyson pai had to say. And found Mostar95 banned. And the same exact thought occurred to me. I have never see Mostar lose his cool. Always polite to a fault. Totally surprised at the ban.if at all anyone has earned some leeway, that would ne Mostar. (Moonstar is also equally polite - so much so for the longest time I would confuse the two - but that is off topic).
