I completely understand the position that “hijabis are people too”…never denied that everyone is only human and bound to make mistakes but the whole concept of “I’m following the religion (which implies that a non-hijabi isn’t) and don’t make me a role model cuz I’m gonna screw up just like everyone else” tends to become a bit lame when non-hijabis are even looking down upon these types of parties…

this whole quote makes no sense. The first part you saying that you understand and the last part you are calling it lame.

and why are you even looking down on it? is it any of your business? I dont understand why you have to judge.

as long as they are covering up their awrah and behave appropriately, there is nothing wrong with it.

and like i stated in my previous post - just because someone wears the hijab, it doenst make them better than a non hijabi. Don’t assume that some hijabis (like me) think the way you implied.
