For those of you babes whoo strighten their hair using ceramic hair strightnerss answer these Qs plz:
How do you keep you hair as stright as possible through out the WHOLE day without it gettin abit puffy after 4hrs??
Are there any products that could help the hair stay stright (the way it is right after u use the ceramics?)
What do u think of hair serum’s role in controling the puffiness?
Are they any technique u use while strightening the hair?
i luv strightening my hair my hair is actualyy stright at the top but curls slightly at the bottom… I usually leave home in the morning and get back when its nearly night and by the end of the day my hair gets kinda puffy it suckss i luv it when its sleek sleeekkkk!! Also i heard about these cordless hair strightners but i dunno where they sell em any idea??
i use to love straightneing my hair..but now i love my wavey and curly hair..
i dont really use anything before or after i use the straightner..my hair is not super duper curly..so i dont really need to 'use' anything to make them stay straight..once they istraight them they stay straight...till i take a shower..
but i guess moose(SP?) is really good to calm ur hair down a bit..
I usually use TIGI Bed Head After Party creme to protect it from damage or the Control Freak same brand..helps a lot in keelping the style too. Also try using a pomade at the tips if you have choppy layers
After taking shower, apply sum serum on your hair ends..not on the top or they'll get oily soon Next blow dry ur hair or if u have time u can let it air dry Then when ur hair is completely dry, divide it in sections and start straightening ... BUT use a hairspray on one section at a time and then straighten with a ceramic straightener Like CHI .
Thats what i do and it works..my hair is naturally wavy/curly but by using these techniques they stay straight for atleast 2 days!
use thermal protector serum after shower let your hair air dry i used to blow dry my hair before straightning but i noticed more damage
I bought a new straightner and thats the best purchase i've ever made 7 of my friends say the same now after buying thier own
It's called Sedu i recommend 1 1/2 inch one i have long curly and frizzy hair and it takes no more then 15 minutes to straighten my hair no blow dry at all and no damage from the Iron as well
my hair stays stick straight untill i wash my hair max was 4 days
I straighten my hair for special occasions only as i have more-or-less straight hair naturally... however whenever i do i tend to style them as follows:
wash hair
towel-dry and apply conditioning / volumising serum on hair
blow dry in sections, ensuring that the hair dyer's nozel is facing downwards
clip hair in sections with a hair-claw and then apply heat-protective spray
straighten hair in section, then finish off with a spritz of hairspray to set style
zainab- dont ur hair get sticky kinda stiff with hair spray?
daisy- how much did u buy tht 'sedu' for..and where did u buy it from?
i use SCHI..which basically just means silk chi..but i bought it online..and before buying i guess i didnt pay much attention to the 's' before chi and now i dont know if i got the right thing..or is it some second name brand for chi? cuz it works good but i dont know if its a real CHI straightner or not
I use a chi which when I first purchased worked great.
But for some reason it just doesn't give me the same results
anymore, although I got a brand new one a second time
thinking the older one had worn out or whatever.
Does anyone know what could be causing it to not work so good????
^did it cause any damage chochi?
nope, it iz basically a 4 hourz treatment wich cauzes no damage, i got it done cauze itz better that straightening my hair almost every day lol
i straighten my hair using a hair straightner but the problem with my hair is that it goes puffy so i use frizz ease and it works fine , u just spray on a lil bit after straightning :)
sajal..i think its really cuz ur hair gets use to it and it doesnt work as well..
what u could do is buy a cheap brand straightner..and i am 100% SURE the result will come out a lot better..i am not just saying it.azmaya wa tareeka hai

How does it help though?
Cheap vs expensive?
I already have a cheaper straightener. Didn't think
of using it. Guess I will give it a try now. :)
