i live in maryland,usa.i am thinking of rebonding my hair.do anybody know a good salon in maryland?

hair rebonding is permenant straightning of curly and wavy hair.hair becomes silky smooth and last for more than a year till new hair starts comming.

my hair is well down to my waist and I had paid him 300-350 every time I got it done. I have not had my hair straightened for 2 years now. It'll be some time till it completely grows out cos I don't want to get them all cut off. After rebonding the hair look great, frizz free, shiny and dead straight. The ends did look a little spikey, if you get layers they won't blend in but give that japanese look instead.I used to roll the ends with a curler to fix that though. Also initially your hair will look very flat till you have a bit of growth and then it looks much better. Its a blesing to be able to just walk out of the shower and not worry about having to dry your hair, totally worth it.

it takes a couple of months before they become prominent. After that u can just use one of those hair dryers with the attached brush or even a straightner. I used the hair dryer back then. Unless ur hair is mad frizzy and coarse I don;t think u have a problem.

But I don’t know of any good salons for that sort of stuff. My mom won’t even let me dye my hair. :bummer:

Femme - does rebonding mess up your hair in the long run, though? I mean don’t they use like chemicals and stuff?

They don’t permanently straighten hair until they do a strand test, to make sure hair is healthy enough coz they use chemicalz, i’ve heard both gud n bad stories :bummer: I really wanted to get it done, but its not recommended for hair tht’z been coloured :frowning:

i hv also heard some bad stories abut hair rebonding ...the after effects of chemicals dat r used n after the condition or hair the rapid falling n damaged structure,,,so is it depends on solutions being used on hair or is it common to have side effects??

My friend had it done in Lahore Pk, from City towers, & paid Rs.7000, & it was looking great & full of shine, the only thing is tht u have to stick to the straight hair for a long time..

but one of my friend's friend had rebonding too but her hair were burnt & damaged right after having rebonding, so she had invested Rs.30,000 only on her hair & later had to apply hair extensions

I love rebonding too.. but I have got very fine hair so not sure if it will suit me or not :( since the hair will look more thin :(
