Hair Loss

Is there any effective cure for thinning hair?

I was a proud owner of thick hairs. But off late I started loosing it. It all started couple of years back and I lost probably 20% of my hair before coming to Canada. But here in Canada, I started loosing it much more rapidly. I have lost over 50% in almost ten months. I attribute it to the stress in the job and the adoption of new life style.

Is there anyway to get back those thick hairs? Of course, I don’t suffer from male pattern baldness, just thinning of hair which I don’t like.

Re: Hair Loss

hahahaha a bald man wants a hot girl

Re: Hair Loss

Rogaine.

Premature baldings seems to be a growing phenomenon amongst young desi men. Maybe it's the water pressure in your shower, who knows. Khair, you are lucky that the ladies seem to still love you, as mentioned in your other thread. :p

Re: Hair Loss

If I'm not mistaken, if you're losing hair due to stress, it will most likely grow back.

Re: Hair Loss

Hair transplant :D

Re: Hair Loss

lol mr sal! the eye-candy-man who hates being eye-candy is upset about hair loss????

just joshing you :) as above, if its true hair loss then rogaine is the answer.

Re: Hair Loss

Re: Hair Loss

bwaaaahahahahaha... maybe it's all the sexual assaults that are causing you to lose your hair, you should do hijab. hai, chashme baddooor!!

Re: Hair Loss

^^ lolz...yeah be grateful...no more harassment.

try castor oil? also pakistan has some kick ass homeopathic oils that DO work....contact some hakeem shakeem

Re: Hair Loss

No I am not looking for love. I am looking for regaining my thick hair since I love it. It has nothing to do with love or any kind of that stuff.

I am not balding. It's just hair thinnig. Does "Rogaine" help for thinning hair since I am not developing male pattern baldness.

Re: Hair Loss

want some gharaylo tootka?
mix fresh lime (half) in warm coconut oil and massage your scalp with it and then leave it for an hour or two. your hair will stop falling.

Re: Hair Loss

Yea, i've heard castor oil is good for hair growth...but it's so thick and sticky! R u supposed to mix it with something, or just use it by itself?

I've lost a lot of hair cos of stress too, so hopefully being stress-free will get rid of the problem.

Re: Hair Loss

kashmiriraindrops- yeah it IS thick and sticky. the point being that it needs only be massaged into scalp. a little bottle can be relatively expensive for the amount in the bottle. i think it is convenient (based on its consistency) for spot treating areas rather than the whole head. i tried it on lashes and eyebrows and u can see results almost immediately.
yeah stress can totally be a killer for hair. try getting enough sleep.
almost all oils worked on my hair (almond, olive, mustard, castor and coconut) except for jasmine oil astagfirullah took me six shampoos to get the horrid oil and the smell out!!!!

Re: Hair Loss

A vitamin E. A lot of vegetables in you diet and dont wear hats. Try to brush your hair for a little while each day as that massages the follicles and keeps them healthier.

Re: Hair Loss

stop talking to hacks, go see a dermatologist.

Re: Hair Loss

lOl…nice replies here:smack:

hmm sal u can always put almond oil in ur hair…or coconut..that always works…and try protectin ur hair from tha sun…: )

Re: Hair Loss

life is so beautiful and yeah girls still give me looks perhaps even more than i used to get!

Re: Hair Loss

idealistic but flawed thinking. only works if other people also stopped worrying about hair.:(

Re: Hair Loss

Ok thanks...i sometimes mix castor and almond oils together, easier to apply and wash out later. I really don't need it on my lashes, they r already long and annoying...i don't like jasmine oil either :)

Re: Hair Loss

^^ ooo long lashes. I wanna seee.
