No man, he just looks like one. He gave me his card, it was white with his name and number across the middle in Comic Sans MS font. I threw it away, my friend kept hers. He was only there for one semester though. Cognitive Psychology 1. He used to wear this huge yellow chav bomber jacket. FUNNIES!

Sahida Sardar who is the owner of zbridal studio (who im going to train with) is trained by jawad ashraf. Sahida Sardar is a fab makeup artist, so her trainer must be reaaly good too! good luck.
Has anyone tried lubna rafiq? her work looks good but heard a few things but not sure if she is actually good or not. Ah really? i spoke to a few people that learnt from Ash Kumar and made it sound like the course is really good.. it may possibly be. But forking out £1600 for 8 days or £1000 for 5 days is alot to think about. I've had a look at a few in the asiana magazine and they look/seem good but once again are very expensive.
Has anyone tried jawaad ashraf, arman miland or one i spoke 2 recently was MDL London?
oh really? did he say why? i left him a message on his website but he didnt get back to me. is the course still 2k? I was lookin at http://www.ak-beauty.com/mc4.asp this one.
Since when did Ash Khumar become the leader in hair and makeup? I've heard of him being the fastest mehndi artist (filling up the hand with twirls and wiggly lines) but not a makeup artist, I doubt he could teach others anything hmm...
I went to his open evening long ago and saw some of the student work, i was really impressed. I dont think he personally teaches the course though, have you had any experience with Lubna Rafiq?
I spoke to someone from Lubna Rafiq's team today and she is fully booked until September. Although, they sound very professional the 14 students per class kind of put me off. The first 3 days u spend on makeup, doing 2 looks per day. Instead of using models u get to put makeup on other students and vice versa which is kinda cheeky in my opinion when ur already forking out £2500 for 5 days. On the 4th day u get to learn about hair and duppata setting and the 5th day u get to use a real model to build ur portfolio.
Anyhow, I cant do the course in Sep because I will be starting uni so I called around and I now have the oppourtunity to have a one2one for 5 days with either Dil Matharu or Jawad ashraf+Saira Hussain. Not sure who to go with, any ideas?
Oh for real? i didnt know that, i thought you all get a model to practice on for the 5 days. Thats abit bull****! I've heard shes not the best person to learn from due to her attitude and apparently she lies alot (don't really know what about) but even still i did request info, she has a few places left on her sept course.
I emailed dil yesterday requesting info, but he didnt get back to me. Whats his course all about? costs? his work is really nice. Are you from London?
I'm baffled myself, really don't know who to train with. Alot have recommend Jawaad Ashraf, but i dontknow. I think its the cost side of it that puts me off.
Does anyone recommend any good makeup courses in Toronto?? I'm thinking of doing the makeup certificate from Centennial College. They train you in all kinds of makeup, and later I can do a course with an Asian makeup artist to cover Bridal looks.
I see what you mean, I have that same problem here in London. However alot of makeup artists offer short courses between 5-14 days. I was hoping i could visit canada to train with shirley as her work is truely amazing.
I've seen some of the magazine work shes done and it is gorgeous. But would work out too expensive if i came there, accommodation, ticket etc. Such a shame, you had any luck finding anything?
