This wasn’t a clandestine underground meet but one on the city’s Mall Road. It was held in broad daylight and attended by over 10,000 people, some of whom bran-dished automatic weapons.

In his speech, Saeed said that the jihadis were willing to go all out to liberate Kashmir. He drew parallels with the Soviet Union’s defeat and US reverses in Afghanistan and told the gathering that India would meet the same fate in Kashmir.
The crowd, which had gathered from various parts of Pakistan to see Saeed make his first public appearance since his release from prison, endorsed his view.
Saeed said he was convinced that India would not let go of Kashmir and jihad was the only option left. His brazen call for jihad against India is one more proof of Pakistani soil still being used for anti-India activity. It is a warning that India cannot ignore. Saeed dismissive of 26/11

The founder of the Lashkar-e-Taiba put down his own agenda for any composite dialogue between India and Pakistan. On the Indian home minister’s proposed visit to Pakistan, he said that P. Chidambaram should first talk to him and the focus of the discussion should be Kashmir.
Saeed wanted India and Pakistan to renegotiate even the Partition of India and discuss the creation of Bangladesh.
The terror commander said that the London conference on Afghanistan signalled the defeat of the US and allied forces. He even predicted a similar fate for the Indian army in Kashmir. London meet has emboldened terror groups
According to Pakistan watchers, the outcome of the London conference has emboldened terrorist outfits across Pakistan and Afghanistan. The groups see the conference as an admission by the US of defeat in Afghanistan.
There are several reasons for this. Pakistan feels it is firmly at the centre of any US policy on Afghanistan. The way India’s External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna was relegated to the back-benches at the conference showed Pakistan’s increased clout.
India was not consulted by the US when it devised the Af-Pak policy. India was no more than a bit player at the London conference. More worrisome was the fact that Turkey, in deference to Pakistan, did not invite India to the Istanbul regional summit on Afghanistan held just prior to the London conference.

Nobody stopped them. The reality is that no one in Pakistan wants to fight terror - not the police, not the army and certainly not the ISI. The jihadis have again started flexing muscles and the government of Pakistan is unwilling to curb their activities.

Salahuddin yar, kuch to sharam karo. Washington gave $7.5 billion in 2009 to pakistan. From 2002 to 2006, 6.6 billion, all this aid so that Pak Fauj does the jamadari of Washington.
India does not get this kind of "royal" treatment from Washington.
Plus during kargil war, langda sharabi Vajpayee was not called to Washington, it was Punjab ka sher Nawaz Sharif who went to Washington with his report card.
plus, Musharraf went to Beijing for consultation before he went to India for talks. Paksitan has three capitals one in east(where military advise comes from) and one in west (where the money comes from)and one in pakistan (where God knows what happens).

Put it this way if he means Jihad that means including muslims of India getting their fair share and equal treatment.

U should mind ur language ipod, Hafiz Saeed is a pious muslim who has memorized holy quran and he offers his salah (Prayers) five times a day in a grand mosque of Lahore. He runs several schools all over Pakistan where message of love and brotherhood is preached in pure Pakistani style.
He is a future man of Jannah (Paradise), so refrain from such insulting comments about him.
