In the traditional Islamic circles Muslims are encouraged to learn about Islam from scholars of repute. Although we have the Qur'an and hadith at our fingertips today, we cannot make contextualised understandings without considering, timing, in case of abrogations, or context for specific cases which overrule the general cases and so on.
Many Sahih hadith are difficult to understand and their apparent meanings can be very contrary to the spirit of Islam, this is not grounds to reject the hadith rather it is grounds to seek clarification. For this reason we should not give ourselves the power to decide which does or does not contradict with the Qur'an, because in some cases it would need to conflict in order to come to a resolution in a certain matter.
a) Know the mechanism of hadith b) Know the rules of hadith c) Know when those rules do not apply
Many people have access to the first two points but a scholar will be able to say when c) becomes effective. If we cannot know any of the points then the simple thing is to go to a scholar of repute. Qur'an should be read by the awam for barakah and gaining surface meaning for pondering and reflection and if something is not fully understood to simply accept it and if possible to follow it up. The permission to discard hadith is not in the hands of the awam.
You keep saying verses are taken out of context. The verses are self explanatory.
[9:31] They have set up their religious leaders and **scholars as lords*, instead of GOD. Others deified the Messiah, son of Mary. They were all commanded to worship only one god. There is no god except He. Be He glorified, high above having any partners.
[17:36] You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.
[5:101] O you who believe, do not ask about matters which, if revealed to you prematurely, would hurt you. If you ask about them in light of the Quran, they will become obvious to you. GOD has deliberately overlooked them. GOD is Forgiver, Clement.
[6:19] Say, "Whose testimony is the **greatest?" Say, "GOD's.** He is the witness between me and you that this Quran* has been inspired to me, to preach it to you and whomever it reaches. Indeed, you bear witness that there are other gods* beside GOD." Say, "I do not testify as you do; there is only one god, and I disown your idolatry."
[6:114] Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?* Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.
[68:37] Do you have another book to uphold?
[68:38] In it, do you find anything you want?
**
[4:105] We have **sent down to you the **scripture, truthfully, **in order to **judge among the people** ** in accordance with what GOD has shown you**. You shall not side with the betrayers.
The bottom line is that you chose not to listen to GOD words. Instead, you say you need context from other sources in order to understand the verses. Even though, the verses are very very clear.
