Who were some known hadith fabricators?
Re: Hadith Fabricators
For the Hadeeth rejetors, every single hadeeth is a fabrication, anyway...
Re: Hadith Fabricators
Jee aap question answer kee jiye, warna apna smartass mun kholiye hi nahin. Woh bhi khuda ko pyara nahi lagta hai.
Now, I'd give you a taste of your own medicine by quoting some ayah from the Quran to make it seem as if you're some grave sinner or something, lekin that would be abusing the Quran for my own purposes.
Aur itna bhara gunna tho mein nahi karoongi.
So please, answer the question, or C your way out of this thread. Thanks.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
Imam Ghazali used quite a few fabricated ahadeeth in his magnus opum, Ihya ulum al deen.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
mujhe nahi patha, warna mein thread nahi khol thi. I have heard that the illustrious Mu'awiyah was one, but I can't figure out if that is true, since so many muslims love him so much. Which would be odd, but whatever.
I'd like to know others, that are less well known.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
Mu’awiyah:razi: would not have fabricated any hadeeth for all I know. Perhaps, he:razi: regarded as one in the books of Ahl-e-Tasha’i’yo …
I will try to find some names for you :insha:
Re: Hadith Fabricators
Acha jee, and if you mind spreading some of your infinite knowledge, please when you spew out titles like ahle-this or ahle-that, put some sort of a description of what you're talking about. Warna aap ke koi followers hi nahi hongay, sab samaj thay hain ke aap bore hain.
Haan jee.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
I understand that you do not have much knowledge of Islam and the teminology used during Islamic history...
Sorry, I took it as a pre conceived notion that every muslim ought to know tha basics of Islam... I should have told you that Ahl-e-Tasha'i'yo is a term used for Shia brotheran as Ahl-e-Sunnah for Sunnies.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
No, this is not basic Islam, AQ, so get off your high horse. If you continue being condescending then Gadha it will be :k:
Re: Hadith Fabricators
Read again… PCG… i used the word Islamic history too..
you can resume calling me names for I can not take the gutter out of you ![]()
Re: Hadith Fabricators
yeaa Mu'awiyah (rah) is'nt a hadeeth fabricator. I believe the farbrication of the ahadeeth must have started way later, when sufism and other innovations started becoming more widespread.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
man, you two need to cool down. this is a good topic, dont ruin the thread.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
I don’t think there were any Narrators who fabricated ahadeeth on purpose. There are ahadeeth with strong references and then there are those with weak ones.
This is a sensitive topic. We’ve already seen the names of two very pious people being alleged in it already. I suggest we not take this any further.

Re: Hadith Fabricators
^ Why not? Open it up to debate - you wont learn if you don't question. I thought that even sunnis accepted that Muawiyah made up hadith. Or was it Yazid?
Re: Hadith Fabricators
That’s the thing. I agree that many narrators have some ahadeeth which seem weak, but how can you say for sure that they **made them up **??
Re: Hadith Fabricators
Because there were many hadith that were found that directly contradicted the Quran - and hence this is where Al-Muslim and Al-Bukhari and the like come into the picture of Islamic history.
Agar aap ko yeh thread bura lagta hai, then don't click on it. Shukriyah.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
O bibi !!! Try to understand what I’m saying.
There’s a difference between fabricating on purpose and some wrong ahadeeth sneaking in due to a mistake on the narrator’s part. That doesn’t mean you should start bashing the narrators.
To err is human.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
No no, I have read that political leaders were "fabricating" hadith's to put forth their own opinions and bind people to them through religious justification.
I would like more information on this please. I suppose I'll have to wait a few days to see what others have to say on the matter.
Re: Hadith Fabricators
ok … have it your way.
