hadd ho gayi!!!!!!!!

i recently heard some NAAT’s being sold popularly in Pakistan based on tunes from INDIAN MOVIE songs!!! :disgust:

don’t you think that’s just PATHETIC!!! :disgust:

or am i being narrow minded and judgemental!!!

yeah very pathetic..i m not surprised though

totally agree!!! :mad2:l

This has been going on since ages on loud speakers of masjids.

I always had a twitching feeling to go and ask the maulvi sahib that where did you hear that from.

Re: Re: hadd ho gayi!!!

aaj kal aap ka dimaagh kahan hay? :hehe:

Which Naat was it?
I wanna know, how is it pathetic, when Naats and Hamads are being sung with music, whats so new, with using a indian tune?

** sheraz CT ** ji, yup, it was okay to base ads on that music but this is just too much :disgust:

** punjabi kurri ** yup sis, i hope they stop doing this!!! :mad2:

** paraishan ** bhai, exactly, i am surprised maulvis have not tackled this issue yet…

** dewana tera ** ji, yup it is :frowning:

** bismah ** yaar, there were quite some…the whole cassette of naats was based on those tunes actually my cousin told me…i only heard the first one which was based on that old indian song ‘tum hi meri manzil, tum hi meri pooja, tumhein devta ho’ and then stopped the cassette…

** dervaish ** bhai and bisma…i think the fact that a naat is based on some indian movie song is disrespectful. its ok if we copy their songs for our lollywood films but a naat is different. it just made me upset when i heard it, i hope they stop doing this

Music has roots in mathematics. Tunes can be of a limitless variety, there are millions of traditional notes and strains are constantly evolving ...does it really matter whether it's a Hindi movie tune or not? If u r humming a naat or a hindi song, what makes it pleasant to the ears is the consistency of the notes. Music is a universal language, not confined to one region or one style of singing.

yaar Ana, u r right, I agree.

but somehow the heart refuses to accept it.

its just disturbing.

true:k:

Tube tuba...Sub qayamaat ki nishayaan hain.

I'm shocked. How can they get away with it?

** sharara ** :k: lets hope this ends soon inshallah

** roshnie ** jee aap sahi keh rahi hayn :k: i think so too…

** shahreen ** i was shocked too and thats exactly what i was thinking - how can they get away with it!!! inshallah not for long :k:

I agree with Ana . :k:

Fatima Habeeb…You are fretting about trivial things…

If a tune is made by Indian its not HARAM :mad2:

You are confusing your nationalism ,hatred for India ,mazhab ,& idiosyncracy for indian tunes.

Islam is NEVER so feeble that it will be threatened by anything Indian ..Sari ,Music,or even vegeterianism :hehe:

Not only 140 million muslims live in India many musicians Naushad,Rehman,Nusrat ,have given tunes to movies of India .

Chal bhag yahan se  :bukbuk: :rocket:

i agree :k: yeh sab personal choice ki baatein hein…muziQ kahin ka bhi ho, koi bhi tune ho..baat naat ki hai, baat neeyat ki hai…baat aQeeday ki hai..tune ki nahin…

naat ka Jo tarz bhaaye usse tarz me aap naat parh sakte haye....
no problem with that.......

to kya huwa its matches in a indian song....
I would not read it myself... ( ok it depends)
but if it pleases someone... then let them be....
aghar un ko us tarz me naat sun kar sukoon milta haye then nothing is wrong....... :)

hmmm well its pahtetic and sad but its an old tradtion...
i agree with hanie that ke unhian sakoon milta hai tu sahi buttttttttt
its NOT good...
well most of our maulvis are like this,.. they must have something in favor of this so we can only hope for the best :)

i read someone up there was saying that naat and humds are being played with music etc... and its all about aqeeda etc...

BUT this is just one example of double standards of our society and our so called Islam-ke- alambardaar

Neeyat ka phul Allah nay dena hai but one must leave a good example to follow
