This was something very common few years ago and may still be now (in rural /semi urban areas) that untrained chotey bachey sang naats in morning after fajar or before juma based on some famous tunes
Do we expect moulvis to listen indian film songs so they are aware of coppied tunes ? :rotato: In order to tackle this issue they should know all the major tunes

Now suppose if some naat is based on the tune of some poppular turkish / Egyption / morocon film song, would that be acceptable ? Ofcourse it would be more than acceptable we will hear it with duppata tightly wrapped around head. Regardless of the fact that egyptions movies are at par with pakistan punjabi and pushto movies and more vulgur than indian movies.
We just scorn at anything hindi / indian with the name.
