A CHAT CHANNEL spat ended when a wannabe hacker was duped into deleting his own hard drive. The 26 year-old German claimed he was the baddest hacker in town and threatened to attack a moderator on #stopHipHop IRC Channel because he thought he’d been thrown out.

   He demanded the moderator cough up his IP address and prepare to be hacked.

The moderator sent back a bunch of numbers and there then followed a period in which the moderator assumes all manner of hack tools were unleashed at the IP address.

Finally the hacker declared success."I can see your E: drive disappearing, he gloated, “D: is down 45 percent!” he cried, before disappearing into the ether.

 It seems he'd been hot enough to hack his own address. µ

Gujjar: I was with Azkar at the time when we ruled IRC EFNet. No one dared mess with us. Imagine a league about 15+ hax0r minds. So he isnt exaggerating when he says "we ruled with an iron fist". Better aks somebody :D

its very funny such an elite hacker does not realize that the ip address given to him was a local ip and he was stupid for not knowing his own ip.

Don’t worry u r not alone, I haven’t been there since 7 yrs or 8 yrs i think. However, I used to be only on Pakistan and Karachi channel :smiley: Punjabi was rarely created I think. I used to be on Undernet I think. I dont’ even rem it nemore :frowning: fun days.

I never ‘hung around’ any IRC channel … it was just the security forum channel that I’ve been to
