Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “ There is nothing dearer to Allah swt during the days of Qurbani than the sacrificing of animals. The sacrificed animal shall come on the Day of Judgement with its horns, hair, and hooves (to be weighed). The sacrifice is accepted by Allaah before the blood reaches the ground. Therefore sacrifice with an open and happy heart.”

Subhan'Allah,
What a beautiful thread.
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
The Prophet said, "There will be none among you but will be talked to by Allah on the Day of Resurrection, without there being an interpreter between him and Him (Allah) . He will look and see nothing ahead of him, and then he will look (again) in front of him, and the (Hell) Fire will confront him. So,whoever among you can save himself from the Fire, should do so even with one half of a date (to give in charity)."

Volume 8, Book 75, Number 341:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! The rich people have got the highest degrees of prestige and the permanent pleasures (in this life and the life to come in the Hereafter)." He said, "How is that?" They said, "The rich pray as we pray, and strive in Allah's Cause as we do, and spend from their surplus wealth in charity, while we have no wealth (to spend likewise)." He said, "Shall I not tell you a thing, by doing which, you will catch up with those who are ahead of you and supersede those who will come after you; and nobody will be able to do such a good deed as you do except the one who does the same (deed as you do). That deed is to recite 'Subhan Allah ten times, and 'Al-Hamdulillah ten times, and 'AllahuAkbar' ten times after every prayer."
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
Thank u guys for posting all the above hadiths...they brought me to tears. Islam is easy and Allah is ever merciful. There are many misconceptions abt Islam out there mostly due to a very narrow understanding of Islam. If an atheist were to argue w/ me to convince me that there's no God, I'd tell him tht I still choose Islam because it offers a very pure, simple an natural way of life.
I was so lost once in my life and had many doubts. Ultimately, it was the verses in the Qur'an that captured my soul and it was the wisdom and insight of Allah swt revealed in those verses that won me over, Alhamdulillah.
So many thanks for this thread. May Allah swt guide us all to the path that leads to his pleasure and HIM, ameen.

Often it so happens that for a certain believer, Allah ordains a high position that he cannot achieve by hmelf. So Allah afflicts him with some physical or material distress or TEST from within his family, whereby he is granted the good fortune of being patient. Thus Allah raises him to the high position originally decreed for him.
Abu Daud & Ahmed.
Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day
The Prophet (saw) said: A person's prayers are always accepted but not when he prays for a sin, bad deed or when he becomes impatient. Suhaba (r.a) asked: What is the meaning of becoming impatient. The Prophet (saw) replied: It means that a person starts to think that I have been praying for so long and still my prayers have not been accepted. Because of such negative thoughts, he becomes so hopeless that he stops praying to Allah (swt).
(Muslim, Tirmizi)
The Prophet (saw) said: When you pray, pray in such a way that you have no doubts about its acceptance in front of Allah (swt).

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
“Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would say on the Day of Resurrection: “O son of adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me.”
He would say: “O my Lord; how could I visit Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?”
Thereupon Allah would say: “Didn’t you know that such and such servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him and were you not aware of this that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him? O son of adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me.”
He would say: “My Lord, how could I feed Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?”
Allah said: “Didn’t you know that such and such servant of Mine asked food from you but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side? (The Lord would again say): O son of adam, I asked drink from you but you did not provide Me.”
He would say: “My Lord, how could I provide Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?”
Thereupon Allah would say: “Such and such of servant of Mine asked you for a drink but you did not provide him, and had you provided him drink you would have found him near Me.”"

Abu Hurairah (radhiallahu anhu) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “…He who treads the path in search of knowledge, Allah will make that path easy, leading to Paradise for him. And those persons who assemble in one of the houses of Allah (mosques), recite the Book of Allah and learn and teach the Qur'an (among themselves), there will descend upon them tranquility, mercy will cover them. The angels will surround them and Allah will mention them in the presence of those near Him. He who is slow-paced in doing good deeds, his (long) descent does not make him go ahead.” (Muslim 6518)
