Hadith 4:3
Narrated Talha bin Musarrif:
I asked 'Abdullah bin Abu Aufa "Did the Prophet make a will?"
He replied, "No,"
I asked him, "How is it then that the making of a will has been enjoined on people, (or that they are ordered to make a will)?"
He replied, "The Prophet bequeathed Allah's Book (i.e. Quran)."

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Some men amongst the companions of the Prophet were shown in their dreams that the night of Qadr was in the last seven nights of Ramadan.
Allah's Apostle said,
"It seems that all your dreams agree that (the Night of Qadr) is in the last seven nights, and whoever wants to search for it (i.e. the Night of Qadr) should search in the last seven (nights of Ramadan)."

Allah's Apostle used to practice Itikaf in the last ten nights of Ramadan and used to say,

Abu Huraira related that Rasulullah said:
*If anyone omits his fast even for one day in Ramadan without a concession or without being ill, then if he were to fast for the rest of his life he could not make up for it *

Abu Huraira related that the Prophet said:
Allah the Majestic and Exalted said:
"Every deed of man will receive ten to 700 times reward, except Siyam (fasting), for it is for Me and I shall reward it (as I like). There are two occasions of joy for one who fasts: one when he breaks the fast and the other when he will meet his Lord"

Abu Huraira related that Rasulullah said:
Many people who fast get nothing from their fast except hunger and thirst, and many people who pray at night get nothing from it except wakefulness
(Darimi).
Ibn Umar related that the Prophet said:
Do not start fasting unless you see the new moon, and do not end fasting until you see it. If the weather is cloudy then calculate when it should appear
(Bukhari, Muslim).

Take the Suhoor meal, for there is blessing in it

Salman ibn Amir Dhabi related that the Prophet said:
Break your fast with dates, or else with water, for it is pure

Abu Huraira related that Rasulullah said:
If anyone forgets that he is fasting and eats or drinks he should complete his Siyam, for it is Allah who has fed him and given him drink
(Bukhari, Muslim).

Look for Lailat al-Qadr on an odd-numbered night during the last ten nights of Ramadan
(Bukhari).
Anas ibn Malik related that Rasulullah said:
When Lailat al-Qadr comes Gabriel descends with a company of angels who ask for blessings on everyone who is remembering Allah, whether they are sitting or standing
(Baihaqi)..

JazakhAllah khair for the thread man. I LOVE this thread. I quoted this hadith specifically because Ramadhan is about to come to an end and some jahil muslims like me think that Laylat-ul-Qadr is on the 27th. They come to the masjid, stay up on the 27th and think they have found the night

`Hazrat Aishah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
** When the last ten nights (of Ramadan) would begin, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) would keep awake at night (for prayer and devotion), awaken his family and prepare himself to be more diligent in worship.**

`Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: I asked:
"O Messenger of Allah! If I realize Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), what should I supplicate in it?"
He (PBUH) replied,
"You should supplicate:
Allahumma innaka afuwwun, tuhibbul-afwa, fafuanni
(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me)."

** The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to strive more in worship during Ramadan than he strove in any other time of the year; and he would devote himself more (in the worship of Allah) in the last ten nights of Ramadan than he strove in earlier part of the month.**

Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
Some of the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) saw Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in their dreams in the last seven nights of Ramadan, whereupon the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,
"I see that your dreams all agree upon the last seven nights. Whosoever seeks it, let him seek it in the last seven nights."

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Whosoever performs Qiyam during Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), with Faith and being hopeful of Allahs reward, will have his former sins forgiven."
