NJGAL: How are you doing the southbeach diet?? Is it only gora food allowed?
I hate these diets because of this...Ive started to have grilled chicken/fish/meat from the george foreman grill and only eat that 4 dinner now...hoping that will make me lose some weight..obv exercising with it too

TABU - yes I am doing south beach. Hecks no girl! - you can eat all the desi food you want. That's why its easier. EAT ALL THE MSALAY YOU WANT :)
I wrote a thread on all the desi food you can eat on south beach but I can't find it
so basically you cannot eat rice, naan, roti, potatoes, suji, maida (flour), sugar
In a nut shell - Eat eggs, kababs, choolay, any type of daal, chicken, raita, salad.
Thanks NJGAL...can u pls if u dont mind provide a typical days menu...
I would like to lose a stone over 2 months if possible...I need to lose at least 2 stones overall..but obv that will be done steadily..
Re: Gymming Log!
Tabu - I will post menus soon. So many ppl have asked me about this.
Thanks NJGAL
Re: Gymming Log!
hmmm i think if u have been excercising 6 days a week and regularly you shoud give in a break....lol i am not kidding but i think it helps with the weight loss or something. Cuz i took a break last month and still lost some weight n inches too....i think all those who have been working so hard and nt getting any weight loss should try this...or go easy for a while like excercise every other day?!?.
any thoughts?.
I think you're onto something, Maham. In February I was busting my butt training for a half-marathon---cardio and weights 1.5-2 hours a day, 6 days a week, plus eating really healthy. My weight was moving verrryyy slowly, and I was getting burnt out on the exercise.
Anyhow, the day of my half-marathon I ran a good race but was STARVING afterwards. I split a whole pizza with my fiance and then stayed away from the gym for four days (plus loosened up on the diet)---and lost five pounds. I think all the exercise was keeping my muscles inflamed and therefore bloated, and that the break and influx of plentiful food helped my body to heel and dump the extra water weight.
Anyhow, since the wedding and honeymoon I've really fallen off the wagon, but today I was back in the gym---60 minutes on the stairclimber, woo hoo!
Re: Gymming Log!
^ ya kinda makes sense :D
Yesterday: 1 hour on the stairclimber
Today: 1 hr 15 minutes elliptical
Re: Gymming Log!
I have been going with 30 minutes on elliptical to get warmed up and sprints in the pool for 30. Lost another 2 pounds - yaay!
hoping not to blow it off this weekend.
Kept it up this weekend at the gym but can't remember the specifics.
Today I did 30 minutes on the stairclumber then 45 minutes on that recumbent bike thingy that has the moving arms to work your upper half---it was my first time using it and it was a better workout than I had expected!
Re: Gymming Log!
i went this morning! 10 minute warm-up on the elliptical, 20 minutes of weights.
