if i was in a relationship for example for a long time and my women got raped god forbid then i would love n support her so much more and be there for her as much as i can in every way! because a women being raped is the most terrible ordeal any women would ever go through! a lot actually commit suicide because they feel so dirty and worthless! and the shaythan makes them eventually commit suicide! so i would never leave someone i was committed to if she got raped but support her through the ordeal and marry her straight away!( thats if she was marrige material in the first place of course)

Bebo, for one i am not denying it, i am just saying it isn’t as prevalent and generalized as has been said earlier. In Pakistan, there was a gay marriage that took place and it became front page news for almost a month. Yes it is a big deal here and if something like this happens it is highlighted to a large scale as well, so not easily do these things escape the eye. My issue is only to the fact that anyone would say ‘lot of guys in Pakistan’ .. that is just soooooo untrue. I have never in my entire life known or come across any single gay.Not just me, my siblings, my friends .. none of us. We live here and we know it much better than what this western media portrays our country to be.We are not denying the reality but we are not ready to accept that such a generalized statement be passed! because in fact it isnt that prevalent. It is still at an excessively less rate than west. So (who ever does it) please stop using Pakistan’s name wherever in the world something goes wrong.

what kinda topic is this? what do u want to achieve. No one can say I will, it's all cheap talk! Raped women aren't respected in our culture. They get kicked most of the time. Is haadse ke baad to 99 % larkiyaan doob jaati hain aapne daard meyn.
This accident follows the poor girl her entire life cuz people around her talk, talk, talk...talk, talk, talk their lives away...Parents say, ab to hum moo dekaane ke laik naheen re...They start worryin' who will marry our girl now instead of prayin' to Allah please take our pain away and help us...

I cant agree to your point more. I myself have been living in Pakistan, never have i found anything of this sort too. Very few Pakistanis are of that category.

It is very offensive for me, at least, that Pakistanis are dragged into every wrong doing. In Australia, a cousin of my friend was mugged. On hearing this news, everyone in the reunion party of my friend’s university blindly started blaming the Pakistani that he must have done something that he was mugged. 
I mean we who live here don’t experience anything of this sort and those who live abroad tend to get the minutest of information of every wrong here. Amazing!
Honestly, it is a request to Pakistanis living abroad to really look into details and in depth before blaming Pakistanis generically. If it is a proved open fact we wouldn’t deny it but without facts and figures please refrain from pinpointing. Thank You.

I think it is quite easy to say everything but it is really very difficult to accept such reality,
we cannot understand the feelings of a raped woman.
There is no scale to measure a woman wheather she is virgin or not, so it is acceptable for all if your wife have some relations with anyone else,
but When you know that your future wife is a raped woman then suddenly the situation changes.
I think people can say that we will accept her, but in reality i am sure only few of them will do so.

The link i gave is quite long article, frankly i haven't read it all, it does mention views of 4 madhabs. Anyhow, it does not make any sense that husband shud pay for support of child who is not his.
Well actualy on reading the article again, maliki and shafii opinion is that husband is not required to pay for child support. He does not mention opinion of Hanafi and Hanbali.

This is stupid that the woman wouldn't want the baby...huh! Ofcourse any woman who has been a victim of rape would have mental health problems but that doesn't means should be treated as trash, it is men's duty to give them the respect they deserve by taking them into their nikkah and help them overcome from this nightmare.

Mmmm, I don't think if the woman got raped and pregnant she would keep the baby, I mean does she really want a reminder of how her life got scarred forever? Not being mean, but this is my opinion. Everyday she would have to get up and see the little baby, her baby...and then the man who forced her to have sex's baby. And then when the kid wants answers about its father? Then? You can't lie to your child forever!
And if I was a man, and the woman did decide to keep the baby, which is ofcourse her own choice....I'd support her and treat the kid as if it was mine.

From what i have seen around me, i feel that people for the sake of showing how modern and western they are accept girls who have had relationships in the past, with or without the physical aspect of it (some girls just hide it to cleverly, but thats a totally different story)..but they wouldn't accept a girl who has been raped/abused...so accepting her child would but even bigger then just accepting the girl (-/+ the mental health some people have mentioned here).

I guess God makes us learn some lessons of life the hard way... a person who wouldn't marry you if such a horrendous thing were to happen to you (God forbid it should happen to anyone - man or woman) wasn't worth marrying in the first place. If Allah (S.W.T) has decided to bless you with a loving partner, than raped/mugged or not, nothing could change that, and if He has decided otherwise than nothing would change that either except His will alone. Face it... it could be anyone's fate... bad things happen to good people all the time right?... why beg the society to accept you as a victim and let you live a normal life? Apart from getting justice I think in the end... happiness and leading a successful life is the best revenge even when the whole society stands against you.
