He doesnt like me wearing anything that is revealing like low neck, capris, short dresses, sleeveless etc, not that i want to wear them myself. At home, i can wear anything i like (as we dont have a family yet and its just him n me). But if i am going out, i try to dress modestly, even i make sure that if i am wearing a t-shirt, i throw a long cardigan over it as i go out. Its not about being unfashionable, modesty does not hinder fashion or style in any way, what and how to dress up is a personal choice, which is also affected by the religious beliefs.

Men can be very liberal generally yet when it comes 2 their women’s dressing they all r pretty much reserved. However that makes me wonder what goes in the mind of the husbands/bfs/brothers/fathers of the entertainment industry women .
Btw im against anyone at all be it the husband or the father forcing hijab on women :nono: or even asking her to cover their head against her wish. Yes a proper dressing code is a must but i think the individual shud get to decide if she wants to cover her head or wear a hijab.

my hubby has this perception of "jesa des, waisa bhes" he says, if i am in Pak..shouldnt be wearing such outfits where most of the men keeps on gazing.. and when you are abroad.. you can wear what you want to.. not showing clavage.. but sleeveless and short dresses are ok.. BUT.. I completely disagree.. I say..wether it is Pak or some other place.. the dress code Muslim women are asked to follow all over the world.. should be followed! I know, it will take me some time to make him understand, but i am sure, one day I will change his perception.. I would never like to wear anything ANYWHERE.. where I see my body getting exposed!!

Theorist: in private setup it is ok. lets suppose your husband has private property at outskirts of city and you are going out with her and nobody can see then it is ok to reveal your body. :D

I think a woman should wear whatever is appropriate for the environment around her.
I can't mind if she wears something revealing where every other female is dressed like that. Objecting to her dress in this situation doesn't make any sense to me.
