I don’t see children having issue with being naked or other species of animals… I don’t disagree that non religious folks also abide by forms of modesty be it cultural or whatever, but for a religious person modesty and it’s guidelines are very specific and not some arbitrary measures. I don’t need to cover my hairline to be modest but in Islam it is part of a modest dress code and a requirement.By testing the waters,i meant that in Islam a woman’s dress code is pretty clear and I don’t see any gray area that will make it ok to wear capris and half sleeves that our very Muslims sisters like to wear. But get all haw haye if some one wears a skirt or dress showing legs**.**

There are different forms of hijab in Islam so in some societies showing shins is considered normal, in some societies it isn’t. You’re talking about awra for prayer.
