Just curious.. do or did any of the hijabi girls here show their hair to their prospective husbands before engagement or even nikah and did the guys ever blatantly ask to see their hair?

^ As per my view as one of my friend is marrying to a hijabi girl. What he told me was that, he requested it and then i think second meeting she came out of hijaab to serve guests for brief period. Another case, this hijabi girl refused rishta of one of the guy i know because he requested her to see her like that.

I sure hope so but honestly if you do feel that way don't marry a hijabi girl.

Hijabi girls are fine but the burqa ones with a little slit to show their eyes or not even that (yes seen that in class) sort of scare me.

To me, doesn't that defeat the purpose of pardah since everyone will look at you if you are covered like that unlike when you give a glance or two if a girl is wearing a hijab?

agar woh naqab karte ho ge to ho ye mere khuskismati ho ge.
main to acha nahin ho kamazkam mere biwi achi hoge to hamere bache bhi hon ge aur main is kom ko ache logon ka tohfa de pao ga.

Anything more than a hijab especially dressing and pretending to be Arab is definite NO!

Might just be a slit for the eyes but some niqaabis wear such intense eye makeup they still attract male attention..

I havent heard of any such incident. But if you are marrying a hijabi girl, at best you should ONLY ask for a picture after the process has started if you really wanna see her without hijaab.

I personally have no problem with head cover. And would feel really really bad asking her to take it off.

kya pata zareen..waqai main agar bal na ho'n tu???. :p. Once my friend saw niqabi walking by and for some reason she turned around and look at him and his friends. So one guy said, "How come she is allowed to see us like that and we don't". :p
