I was trying to address the misconception in your post that "the only way to make money in shares is to trade by the hour ". You considered shares as an option. And dismissed it due to hourly trading being a requirement. Which is not true. And interest - which I didn’t comment on.

In above post, there is another misconception. That low risk has low reward or delayed reward. Warren Buffett would differ.

As for investing not being a business plan, Buffett may differ on that also. Stock investment is not for everyone. But just trying to clear up what to me look like misconceptions.

Warren Buffett may differ on many things … Just wondering if he has appointed you to be his spokesperson?

The misconception was a result of me not clearly saying that I was talking about a business model … That is why you thought there was something wrong … When I used the word “benefit” I meant it in a cash flow sense.

But if you still believe that low risk long term investment is a viable business model then please explain how … I’ll look forward to reading the explanation.
