Inspiron was meeting him in public.. no different to sitting in a mixed lecture hall or getting on the tube to go to work everyday.. Obviously there are non-mehrams everywhere.. it’s only being left alone with them which is the problem in religious terms..

geez..the only problem these guys are having really is that inspiron and for that matter the rest of us used the word date instead of meeting… lighten up on the use of words for christ’s sake man its not like she was being romantic with him and even if she was … we’re all in such a good place to judge arent we since all of us well you know 100% pious /rolls eyes

i think this thread needs to be closed before it becomes a should you or should you not date(meet) before marriage topic

islam does not permit and man and woman to meet in a private setting where they are alone but meeting in a public setting, especially with a potential rishta is permissible

that meeting is often referred to as a “Date” by desis because well some of us dont dissect our words before we speak
