I don't see anything wrong with appreciating beauty. As long as you know ur limit.
Me and my friends often comment if a cute guy walks by.. so what? I don't run after him or walk upto him and tell him "oooh ur soo hot".

If I ever get engaged or married then I'd have no problem telling my fiancee/hubby that I saw a cute guy today and I for one like to know who he finds hot or cute or whatever. :)

Precisely! :) I wouldn't be offended or insulted if my man (in the future) checked out another woman cause I'm secure enough with myself to know that I'm the one he really wants! The way I see it, it is in the nature of most guys to automatically check women out. I can't go getting upset each time this happens. Also, is there any difference between commenting on a woman on the street or ogling Denise Richards or some chick on the movie screen?

I'm planning on watching the X-men mainly because of the X-women. Famke Janssen and Halle Berry are fine actresses and their talents deserve to be appreciated :)

I was taken aback by Famke Janssen when I watched X2 this weekend. She is 40 years old and still stunning!

Yaar I think your friend is wrong, first he is in love with someone else and 2nd he is a Muslim and should lower his gaze.

OK,OK I understand lots of people do that, however I am single and I have NEVER checked out a guy. and if I was ever in love, forget about even thinking about anything like that.

But yaar, I hear you, I have friends who are married and when we go out, they check out every guy and then talk about it, I think that is SICK!

It is not right for a Muslim to ‘check out’ someone of the opposite gender. Ya I know its natural and all that but in Islam we are asked to control ourselves and lower our gaze. When you develop real HAYA in your eyes they themselves refuse to look up and ‘check someone out’…I think thats the state we should aim to be in…

‘Checking out’ someone from the opposite gender is bad regardless, but the fact that your friend is doing it after getting engaged is not just bad but also of disrespectful to his wife and I don’t know about other girls but if I was her it would hurt my feelings…
