So guys, share your strong culinary side. What dish can you cook like a master, something that you can do better than your wife (or mom/sis if you are single) …

In my case, there is this Daal that I make that got some fame (at least that is what Niks tell me) :D, but other than that, nothing much.

  • Mix daal
  • Chat-pata qeema
  • Kabab rolls
  • Nihari
  • Bean Salad

All BBQs
Manchurian chicken
Yakhni Poo-la-o
Gola kabab
Cholay for pori. ( begum makes pori)
Potato filling for Pujabi samosa.
Various kinds of chutneys.

man, Dc6 and mirch are some cook. I cant make any of those things .. :(

I dunno about my husband but my dad was the best at making breakfasts (any and all kind of eggs/sandwiches, with fried potatoes, grilled onions etc), much better than my mom

My husband makes the most amazing daal. It's like a roadside dhaaba ki daal that you cannot stop eating.

He also makes the best anday ki bhujia and bhuna huwa beef.

My dad used to make the best am day pyaz and all types of sabzi!!

My husband cooks everything better than I do except roti!!! That I make the best!!!

My dad makes a great omelet, egg sandwiches and BBQ.

My dad always cooks better than my mom…and sometimes he makes up his own recipes while he is cooking…and they always taste delicious..so when I tell him, “Papa..next time you should make it this way!!”, and he says, “I can’t remember what I put in there or how I made it!” :smack:

But my favourite dish of his is his Egg Plant dish.. :yummy: for that he has the recipe stuck to the pantry cupboard and my mom is the one who sent it to him :cb:
