Especially you guys living in non Muslim countries where desi clothes are not easily available.
I have so many kurta shalwars sitting in my closet that I don’t know of I ever have to buy new ones again. These are the ones I was given over the year by my family or bought for me by my wife. They are not new, but most of them were used only once maybe.
Nope, my husband doesn’t…he just wears whatever he already has. My sister usually brings him something on her yearly visits, but this time she didn’t so he’ll make do with whatever is there
^ hubby is the same way. He wears his shaadi stuff till this day. The men's desi clothes are so consistent in fashion too. no choti kameez lambi kameez debate. they are timeless.
yap..i actually do bro. Though..dont wear shalwar kameez..but i like wearing them on occasions. That reminds me..i gota remind myself not to wait until chand raat to buy myself shalwar kameez..i gota do that before.
Can someone..send some sort of link..where i can get shalwar kameez from here..in Mississaua. I usually go that boutique by Dundas and Winston Churchill area..
I usually get something that I wanted. A sportcoat or a suit, or just new shoes. I don't do the kurta shalwar for eid thing. This year I will wear a fez with a suit on eid day. I don't even buy new jury as for weddings. I have a few nice ones and they are simple and classic, don't feel I really need it.
Come to Toronto then. There are plenty of desi clothes retailers here. Yes, I'm getting new clothes. Problem is desi ppl have issues when it comes to sizes. They always carry M, L or XL in everything. Are there no small desi folks? I'm going to have to start getting my clothes custom made. X-tron.....try "Trendy Kapray" - she is in Mississauga. Her stuff is good. Look her up on fb.
