Muni and her sister had came to Burlington on some personal business and had asked Qrius baji before hand whether she would be able to meet them and Qrius baji said yeah sure why not.
Last Monday, i believe it was 27th May, we finally got a chance to gather around at our place and then later after fighting that who is taking what car, (yes i know i am called painfully persistent) we took Muni’s car, deciding that me will drive. (sidenote: if u wanna see me paranoid, put me in the car where I am not driving hehehe).
We decided to go to Toronto city (Downtown side near the end of the City) to a museum/oldhouse named** Castloma** (Qrius yaar, correct the spelling i cant even remeber what it was). There we took some pics, after getting really tired with my digital cam, WHICH became the laughingstock of the day in that guppiesmeet, me and Muni went to nearby GeorgeBrown College to get batteries, but neah.. something was wrong and it kept running out. khair all together i had 42 snaps, only these ones were authorized with few modifications to be published with audience here on gupshup.
I was feeling REALLY hungry, so we drove from there to Gerrard Street Desi bazaar, where indian and pakistani food is available at a good location. Khair, my personal favourite was Lahori Tikka House cuz (ahemmm, with friends and other people we use to hang out there all the time and food is nice..so…).
After brunch (lunch and breakfast combined? hey i left house without eating) we headed to Toronto Islands, by Public Boat!. On the boat we took some pics of ourselves, Toronto Skyline, then after reaching on the island, we took another round of shots just to capture that sunset and nice purplish lights in the sky.
After taking walking tour of the two islands, all dark by that time, me and Muni really wanted to scare Qrius baji and Muni’s sister. We even tried sneaking into the Maze in the Centreville island(i believe thats where it was) and scaring them from the other side, but sighhhhhh, Muni’s sister wanted to get to the boat dock as soon as possible so left that plan till later. And OHHHHHH, I kept looking back in the dark and silence around us that Qrius yaar, i FEEL THAT SOMEONE IS BEHIND US, walking towards us.. heehehehehehe .. ohh mannn .. Muni’s sister HATED my guts that time .. we even stopped talking in the middle for like… scratching head three minutes i believe (hehe).. she was joking, so was i..
Khair anyway, about 11 something we left the Island and headed back towards the City, found our car and drove back to Brampton. Then another side story.. cars of States have MP/H dial in their speedometers on top and KM/H at bottom.. now it may not sound weird, but driving and keeping the speed in the limited frame was REALLY weird.. i mean, 85 rating showed me i was going near 140.. and once Muni mentioned that “Dude, slowww down, u r crossing 85miles’n hr” and i looked in the speedometer.. and wondered that oh, NO WONDER i was passing by cars on 410 entrance from 401.
