Interesting you curse and rant not at the Taliban ... but quote on quote at the "taliban lovers" this assumingly is a dig at the people who try to look for objectivity. I'm not a 'Taliban lover' but to you I probably am.
Start quoting verses from the Qur'an and the language you tote only shows that you have a habit of pointing fingers at a people you do not know. The article states clearly the culprits were common criminals. This is the position of the Muslim to protect those vunerable from oppressors ... if you do not adequately identify the real cuprits then people will continue to be oppressed.
There is nowhere in the Qur'an nor Sunnah that justifies taking children hostage but there are plenty of places condemning the accusation of people without evidence.

Gunmen free 300 children in Pakistan school siege
5 hours ago
PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AFP) — Heavily armed Islamic militants took more than 300 children hostage at a school in northwest Pakistan Monday but freed them after tense negotiations with tribal elders, officials said.
Seven rebels equipped with rocket launchers and dynamite holed up at the primary school in the remote village of Domail after a failed attempt to abduct a local official that left one of their men dead, they said.
The insurgents threatened to blow up the children if they were not given safe passage, but eventually released them and fled towards Pakistan's troubled tribal area bordering Afghanistan, tribal negotiators said.
"They have surrendered themselves to the local jirga (tribal council) along with their weapons and released the children," ministry spokesman Brigadier Javed Cheema told AFP after the seven-hour drama ended.
The incident comes amid a tide of extremist violence in Pakistan, especially in the tribal belt, that has raised fears for the country's stability ahead of key elections on February 18.
In London, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf told reporters after talks with British premier Gordon Brown that the incident vindicated his efforts to clamp down on Islamic extremism.
Musharraf said the hostage-taking was a "a desperate act, maybe to take away attention from the military operation outside. I think we will keep going strong on the side of acting against the terrorists".
But a member of the negotiating team said they were forced to let the seven hostage-takers go to keep the children, who were mostly aged eight to 12, alive.
"They were armed with dynamite, hand grenades, Kalashnikov rifles and other explosive material. They took 315 schoolchildren and 10 teachers hostage," tribal elder Shah Abdul Aziz told AFP.
"When the team of tribal elders entered the school the children were crying. They were hungry. Some had fainted due to fear. It was a very painful scene," Aziz said.
"During negotiations they repeatedly warned they would kill the children and blow up themselves if they were not allowed safe passage.
"Since the children's lives were more precious the tribal elders decided to give the men safe passage. We had no other option," he said, adding that weeping parents had hugged and kissed their children after they were freed.
Interior Minister Hamid Nawaz also described the hostage-takers as "terrorists", while police said they were Islamic extremists.
Police said the militants took over the school, about 250 kilometres (155 miles) west of Islamabad, after they abducted a health worker in the village and drove off with him, police said.
Police gave chase and in the ensuing shoot-out one militant was killed and a policeman was wounded, while the medic escaped, senior local police official Shakirullah, who goes by one name, told AFP.
Militants in northwest Pakistan have increasingly resorted to kidnappings and hostage-takings to press their demands for Islamic Sharia law and an end to military operations in the region.
Pakistani forces on Sunday said they had seized control from the militants of a key road tunnel that links the district where the school is located to the main northwestern city of Peshawar.
But a soldier died in fierce fighting that continued on Monday in the nearby tribal area of South Waziristan, where Pakistani officials say the key suspect in the murder of opposition leader Bhutto is hiding out.
Islamist warlord Baitullah Meshud denies any involvement in her killing but fighting in his mountainous fiefdom has escalated since the killing of Bhutto on December 27.
