Farangi is the common Asian word for Frankish people, its odd that even long after the Crusades Asians referred to any invader as Frankish regardless of wether they were English, Spanish or Portugese... The french were probably the pioneers of colonialism as well as revolutionary activity.
Interestingly the Chinese word for Ferangi is very similar... Folang zee.

i dunno if there exists a word for mobile fones...as far as Urdu is concerned, the word would depend on it's usage:
as in mobile phone = Harkat-pazeer sautii aalah or** moHarrakaatii sautii aalah**
