This thread, i’ll update you on my work out. I don’t have a lot of time, so mostly i just run (treadmill) and do sit ups.
I used to be able to do 48 miles/week and a 1000 situps eachday…but I’ve taken a break from running for like six months, and from situps for like 2+ years, and i want to get back to that level…So we’re going to see how long it takes!!!
:AID: You go! I'm very impressed---it's really an ambitious plan.
I started running again in November, and it's been tough to keep up 25-30 miles per week for me. I think 48 MPW would be a really great accomplishment. Good luck!
impressive. 1000 situps a day. You must have had killer abs back in the days.
ps: just a question. Do you do anything for ur lower back?.. to be able to do 1000 situps a day, one got to have extra strong lower back. What was/is your lower back routine like?

honestly, no I don't. You're the first to actually point that out to me. I guess you develop it while you are doing your situps? My mom used to do a similar number of sit ups back in the day-- so it could be genetic...
I am running about 50 miles a week, but I divide it evenly every day. I really want to do a marathon some day. I have no clue how to train though, I talked to some people I work out with and no one has a definitive answer. Anyone tried such a thing before? Also, I don’t like running at a snails pace, if I have to run under 6mph, then I see no problems doing a marathon. There is a woman from Nigeria, Africa that works out here and is an athlete, she said she had an average speed of 7.5mph on her marathon!
