ummm
you buy the powder - mix it with ghee and fry them.
then you make a simple syrupp 1-1 sugar and water and cook until thick and you're done.

Its not hard honey.

Gulab Jaamun

1 cup powder milk
add 1tbs flour + 1tbs sooji + 1tspn baking powder
Add 1 tbs of oil/ghee/butter

Mix the materials and make into tiny balls (as per ur wish)

Fry till brown/yellow

Put in Sheera (1 cup of water with 2 cups of sugar)

*Dont blame me if ur gulab jamuns go bad; mine never do * :o

if the mixture is very dry add just a little bit of water...drop by drop

DO NOT add too much ..it has to be dry

i made with the same recipe that bulbuli posted and this is a good recipe,but sometime i added one tsp of yoghurt to it,it tatse good.

I tried Sadaf's recipe a couple of months ago and lets just say things didn't go to well for me. I promised myself never to try such a thing again.
I rather buy them than make 'em from scratch.
