HI Guys, they have finally uploaded some of the winter collection online and the magazine is also available for download. i have to admit taht some of the designs dont look as bad as i initially thought. Its all about the styling and the photography!
I really love th fact that this is one of the few Pak retailers who seem to have a decent online shop, the prices for the unstiched material also seem quite reasonable.

My sister called me early in the morning just to let me know GA's website has been updated. :D Infact I was just looking at it and as much as I did not want to spend anymore on clothes, I might end up doing just that.

I am really loving some of the khaddar prints, lots of lovely ones in shades of blue and green (my fave colours)

Ya Allah,brummie,you gone and done it again.
i saw some of the fabrics on FB...they are nice and as you said reasonable.so how do order from them??..do you buy ready made and they send to you direct??,As you said,it is down to stitching and styling.I got some GA summer lawn,just because it looked in the pix...and tbh,it was no great shakes for a rs 3500 suit.

Sorry hun I couldn't resist! I've ordered directly off the website before but its only khaalee kapra. U have to use a credit card to pay them and they did ask for my passport number which I found to be bizarre, they reckon its a requirement from the gov. I said I weren't willing to do that cuz of fraud issues and they said just to make a number up! I got my stuff without any issues.
Oh my days! The short shirts look like something from a cheap Indian website Hahaha

As far as the passport number is concerned I made one up too when I ordered last time, infact wrote it down so I can use the same number in the future, lol.

So you guys had just the kapra sent to yourselves?..they are charging almost double the amount for stitching,but even then it works out cheaper than some FB vendors...excluding our GS girls of course.The one I'm after isn't on the Sanuallah page.Or,am I missing something here,and you order directly from GA????!!!!

A lot of us here ordered from GA's website and had the fabrics sent to Proto. Who then got em stitched for us and sent the finished suits to us. Worked out pretty well.
Who are you refering to when you said charging double for stitching? GA doesn't offer stitching too, do they?

I love love love the embroidured or whatever printed khaddar they have.
and what is curduroy like ? i hope not the stiff and thick kind of curduroy fabric used for western jeans and pants .
does anyone know their price range of stitched garments ????

Well,by a series of links I got to the Sanaullah page,and they offer stitching,which I might add is whole lot cheaper than a certain vendor on Fb, (sorry to mention her again)who wants $115.It's the chocolate-y one with turquise piping.Sanaullah are offering to make it for rs 3550,inc.
I didn't realise you could buy direct from GA...I just ended up on the Sanaullah page.They don't have an awful lot,but some are really nice,and they guarantee to stitch just like the pics.,so I am tempted.
The other option I was thinking of was ordering the suits and getting someone to pick them up for me,but then they won't be made like the pics.,which is the whole point.
Btw...khaddar...it's not that really stiff type of fabric is it?

Charmed, the sanaullah prices sound very reasonable but yaar there are no reviews on GS about their service and i'd be very very cautious about handing over any dough, (sorry Hun, I;ve got my aunteeee jee topi on!)
Khaddar is the slightly stiffer fabric, not as flowy as Linen or viscose but good for winter,

I like Sajas idea of having it shipped directly from the website to one of the Gs girls and if they are still doing it this year, i'll prob take that option. The other thing i was thinking was maybe just ordering the kapra nd getting it stiched in a simple style from the durzee but mera dill naheen maan ruhaaa as i know he's just going to ruin em. Me is confused:( decisions decisions hai hai hai!

Oh...you are sooo right,brummie,re no reviews on Sanaullah's stitching.I just don't know what to do,my SIL will get one for me,but I really don't want her to run around trying to get the bits'n'bobs that go with it.Why can't they give you the option of buying it all tog.??..it's all in the stitching donchano!.
I do like their khaddar...actually,I'm thinking of page nos. 44/46/70..whadyasay??

oh charmed one I know which one you are talking about…I too have my eyes set on that choco brown one…but it has to be stitched ditto to get that look…chiffon churi sleeves , sequins, pleats on shoulder and what not 
khaddar is a thick slightly stuff fabric…GA had come up with himalaya collection last year which was horrible form of khaddar(this they had apart from their khaddar line)…very rough fabric…
so i am loving these three
