Why on earth are they remaking this movie? They better not touch the holi song. I can’t see anybody else doing it other than a young Hema Malini and Dharmendra. It’s a classic and makes me want to take part in Holi. Them two make it look like such fun.
Why must they redo it and ruin it?

There is no replacement for "Dharmendra" and no producer must ever try to do so. He was just one of his calibers in Bollywood. Any thing impossible for other heroes was possible for Dharmendra.
If any other actor stops a plain with ropes, then that was stupidity. If Dharmendra stop the plane, it was strength. Even Gabbar Singh was too tough for any one else to kill. It was just Dharmendra who became angry when Amitabh died in the movie.

this is not going to be a scene to scene remake of the movie .... its a RGV movie and he is setting up sholay in mumbai in 2005/06 .... RGV ==> underworld
I dont think original songs will be used in the movie ..... may be as a RGV movie this will be a songless action thriller.
