Definitely a generous offer.
How about starting with the enhancements on GS app? I think it should hv more options similar to browser based.
It should and I would love to look into it but that would take some time. I am looking for issues that users are having this their systems, applications, etc.
My speakers that are hooked up to my desktop, constantly hums. The humming sound is pretty loud and annoying. Only way out is to lower the volume to zero. The speakers are not high end. I probably spent $25-30 on them.

Is there a fix?
TLK bhai: Have you tried plugging them in to your cell phone jack to see if they make the same noise? Also, try to connect them to something that is away from interference like to a portable radio or something since phone will also interfere with it. By the way I have speakers like that as well at home and I usually keep them away from my computer and the hum goes away.

Poori daal hi kaali hai.
From what I know Intel didnt have much competition when it comes to desktop/laptop market. AMD has been mostly known in the mobile market.
Here is the bottom line:
There’s no real “right” answer when you’re trying to decide whether you should go for an AMD or Intel processor. Every PC builder has different needs and budgets. An AMD CPU is generally the right choice for those working on a tight budget, as AMD chips typically offer better performance at $150 and under than an Intel chip at the same price. Intel Core i5 and Core i7 series processors are the better choice if you have more money to spare and a high-end GPU at your disposal.
You must also ask yourself what you want your PC to do. If your computing needs consist of web browsing, watching videos, sending emails and productivity tasks, you can easily get away with an AMD CPU. If gaming is your priority and you have big bucks to spend, you’re probably best off with going the Intel route.

Oh it is for my dad.
I wonder if it is the type of rare metal that they use and/or the architecture itself? It is running cooler with SSD (main issue for my dad) but it kind of hiccups even compared to my dual core old Sony laptop. It is apple to apple as both have SSDs.

What is he using his computer for? That makes a big difference on how much juice that processor needs.

AMD processors are good for gaming/graphics while Intel processors are goods for performance w.r.t. energy consumption. AMD neglected power efficiency for too long. Intel saw the future trend of portability and did small scale fabrication along with full focus on consuming less watts for its CPUs as compared to AMD. I remember when Intel was coming up with 85 watt or 60 watt desktop CPUs, AMD ones consumed 130 watts.
The hype is not overrated, in portable devices (laptops, tablets) Intel CPUs do manage to last more than the AMD ones. That’s why you will not see too many laptops under 14" with AMD CPUs. The desktop replacements like 15.6" and 17" do come with AMD CPUs at lower price but they are expected to be plugged in to a power outlet.
Apple MacBooks can run for 10 or 12 hours with Intel CPUs, if AMD was able to match that time with equal 32nm or 22nm fabrication, Apple would have surely taken them onboard because of their superior graphics performance.
